I grew up close to Philly , so I am very particular about my cheese steaks. The one I had here was better than any I have ever had back home in Philadelphia. The pricing was very affordable and the service was top notch. I got my food in less than ten minutes as well. I am planning to eat here again before I leave Kansas !

This place is amazing! The staff is super friendly! The food is amazing!
It’s always fresh they don’t start cooking it tell you order. So if you are in a rush you better call ahead. Which you can do. I’ve even called ahead and told them I wanted to eat there. Normally I’m at the store and head over there and it’s normally ready. The desserts are also amazing! All made inside! I guess the only “bad” thing I have to say if the bathrooms are outside. (The building is a old Dairy Queen). I’ll miss this place when I move..

I've eaten my share of burgers and I think I've found the best burger I've ever had. I got the Hornet and it was everything you want your burger to be. "Amazing!" Definitely not an overrated place in Kansas, a must stop by! If I ever come back to Kansas I don't care where I'm at I will come back to Do-B's! Seasoned fries are also great!

First of all, this place has REALLY good food, but IT IS NOT FAST FOOD. Quite the opposite, and they take their time to do it well. We waited about 40 minutes to get our food, which the lady at the counter warned us about, but the wait was worth it. As we waited, it became apparent that they were trying to get together a call-in order of at least 10 meals, and we were behind that, and everyone else waiting. (and this was 12:30 on Saturday afternoon)
Anyway, my wife and I both had hamburgers, both excellent, probably the best home-style we've had in quite some time. They don't cook the burgers ahead of time, only after they're ordered, hence the wait. The lady taking the order is the mother of the owner, and exceedingly nice and helpful. If you like iced tea and get frustrated trying to find good iced tea, they have it! (freshly brewed, unsweetened)
‎ Basically, a very nice place, nice staff, clean, and very good, fresh food. Right now on Google, they have 4.8 stars, not an easy feat. The building was a Dairy Queen in a former life, and is cleaned up nicely. This is off the beaten path, but we will be back when in town again. A nice alternative to a chain restaurant meal. And worth the wait.

This food is very amazing. I am absolutely in love with their fries because they have a nice kick to them. Their chicken is also very nice and has a tiny kick also. Their milkshakes taste like an old fashioned milkshake. Love. Love. LOVE ♡

Amazing food and definitely worth the wait. Sure, I wish it was slightly cheaper, but this isn't McDonald's or fast food folks. It's quality, cooked with love and skill.

This is hands down the best burger joint I've eaten at. The family that owns it is always kind and charismatic.

Anyone who was upset over the wait or the price should probably go eat at McDonald's or burger king so they can shove the frozen patties down their gullet in the 30 second it takes someone who couldn't give less of a rats ass about their job to microwave them and slap them on the grill. If all you want is something to toss in your stomach go elsewhere because any hum drum garbage would do.

This is real food. It takes some time and it's real, quality ingredientsthat's why it's so damn good. You don't scarf this food down. You let it make love to your mouth.

One of my top picks for lunch in Emporia. Everything fresh and tasty. Love the homemade wafle chips. Leslie and Darren have done a lot of sprucing up around the store. Looks nice feels cozy.

Daryn and the Do-B's crew have never failed to amaze. Great food and excellent prices. Fresh produce and local meats make every delicious menu item even better.
On Wednesdays, they offer 1/2 priced wings. And these aren't any old wings. They're good sized and all are seasoned with ingredients Daryn grows and extracts himself. I recommend all flavors and if you can handle the hottest of the hot, try your hand at the Insanity Wings, THEY'RE HOT!

One of our favorite places to eatanywhere, and we eat out a lot, traveling. Food is amazing, I have tried a lot of the menu and never had anything bad. Service is excellent. Atmosphere is quaint. It's a relatively small place, and you might have to wait a while when they are really busy, but it's well worth the wait. If you are traveling through and can only try one place, this should be itor J's Carryout if you just want a straight-up burger

Really yummy food: especially the cheese steaks. The food takes longer to get than at a fast food joint, but it's SO worth the wait. The restaurant features interesting and different desserts each week. Definitely a place to go for lunch or a casual dinner!

I love Do-B's! Everything is wonderful! Darren has started something great and you can tell he and his whole family care about what they are doing. Not only is it a fabulous place to get a 5 star burger or poor boy, the deserts are to die for. It's a place that makes you feel like a friend and appreciated.
