Chose Diversified because of their location and the dispatcher's friendly demeanor. According to the dispatcher, they sent out "their best". The electrician was prompt to arrive, traced the problem to the garage, which doesn't have a door. Without power, it has no access. They offered, at the same high rate, to inspect and determine what the problem was then fix it.
I immediately called another electrician who discovered that the wiring they did was not correct. It was hooked up to the furnace which would have blown had I turned on the air or the heat. The electrician undid what "their best" did, replaced a wire and a GFI and - surprise - the garage now has power. My honest opinion is that "their best" and others need remedial training or more experience. The second electrician is *half* their rate and did not make excuses.
