My kids had a great time. Great place to take kids. And the zoo is right next to it.
I just visited this place for the first time ever with my 3 children. They are 3,5 and 12 respectively and they were all entertained here!!!! My 3 and 5 yr. Olds liked dressing up as firefighters, pretending to shop and played at the water tables, while my 12 yr. Old took a liking to the flight simulator, the microscope station and reading interesting facts posted throughout the museum. It is cheap and a great place to visit on a rainy day, or on a nice day during the summer as they have an interactive garden outside!!!!!
I will be going back again!!!
Great place to take your kids so much for them to learn and explore and very fair price for admission. Will definitely be taking my kids back !
Good place to visit with the under 10 children. There were a fair amount of inoperable exhibits but they appeared to be actively working to repair them.
Took my 17 month old. For 7 dollars it was worth it. There's no time limit, lots of fun things for kids to do. They can use their imagination and be whatever they want to be a dentist a store clerk a weatherman. They have a music room with instruments they can color. They also have a zoo which wasn't open when we went. But I do plan on making another trip. The zoo opens in April so we will definitely be going again soon.
It is a nice place to take the kids to play and learn. From mock grocery store to the back of an ambulance there is so much to do and see. The Discovery Center also has an amazing set of summer camps to keep young minds active and involved during the summer months
It's a little bit run down (all the exhibits are kind of old), but my kids had a blast here and are asking to return, especially my 2.5 & 5 year old sons.
My two oldest are 3 and 4.5 and just love it here. They love that they have the freedom to play and use their imaginations. My girls especially love the ambulance and the tree house with the live bird in it!
Great place for younger kids. You can get a year membership for this place only $75 and it's unlimited. We love this place!
The Discovery Center is a place for a great family outing, with lots of interactive activities for kids of all ages. They have rotating exhibits to keep things fresh. Without the annual membership (if you can justify it) the Discovery Center can be a bit expensive. But several solid hours of entertainment can be had by all in a single visit, making it a day-long destination.
This place is awesome. My 18 month old had a blast, but she is probably at the youngest age who would enjoy this experience. Older kids would love it even more. Only down side is that all people in your party have to pay admission. Can get pricey. For example, $7 each for my daughter, wife and myself. $21 total for a kiddo to play.
Great place for the kids. Exhibits are interesting and informative. Lots of activities to keep little ones engaged.
This place is really neat. I definitely didn't expect it to be so much fun. The summer camps are fun for children too. Highly recommended.
Fun place to bring your kids. They try to come up with creative things throughout hehe museum. It's nice.
This is the absolute best place for young kids! Our daughter loves the interactive childrens' museum, the preschool, the after-school care (she's been going for a couple of years), the teachers, the outdoor "story garden," everything! We always have a great time and have enjoyed a handful of special events here as well! I can't say enough good things about The Discovery Center of the Southern Tier or the people who work there!
