We held my daughter's 17th birthday party at Dickens Coffee & Tea Room, and it was WONDERFUL. We had a total of 34 guests, and everyone left happy. We chose Ivy's tea, and the tea was delicious and plentiful, the scones were some of the best I've ever had, and the sandwiches were so tasty! The fact that they use imported British products (preserves, clotted cream, bread, etc.), and bottled water for tea (rather than tap water) truly makes a difference. This tearoom is an undiscovered jewel, and I highly recommend it!

Adorable tea house with a pleasant staff and yummy tea, finger sandwiches, and desserts. My sister loved it and we decided that we will have to make it a tradition to come whenever she visits.

What a great place!!! The food was awesome and they had a good variety to choose from. I loved the atmosphere cute tea room. We had an amazing waitress Natalie who was fantastic! Will definitely be back!! First time there😉

Dickens Tea Room is a MUST go to and it's not just because I work here! The environment is wonderful the customers are such a pleasure to serve! The owner is amazing and the most down to earth person I've worked with. As an employee here we work together as severs and helping out in the kitchen when needed. We do not get paid servers wages but we do get amazing bonuses at the end of each month depending on how well we do with tips! It's an awesome international tea room here in lake Mary! Come check us out!

DONT TIP THE WAITRESSES! The waitresses don't get to keep THEIR TIPS! because the owner takes it! Is the owner hurting that badly for money where he/she is desperate enough to take from his/her own employees! Staff was polite and knowledgeable on what they sold, however the food was bland and flavorless and was a bit disappointed when I heard the sound of a microwave. Will not return

Not sure if I came on an off day but visited Dickens for the first time after being out of the area a couple of years. Was greeted by a pouty-faced girl who just said you can sit over here. It took forever and by no means was the place crowded. We actually could have sat anywhere without Pouty's direction as there was only one other party. The food was good but the tea was surprisingly weak . . . I'd ordered it before. Turned out they just threw in a bag rather than brewed loose tea which again made me wonder, why the heck did it take so long? Then we kept having to ask Pouty for things: utensils, sugar, you know basic stuff. The only thing Pouty was quick about was getting us the check which was unfortunate as I planned to order scones (like I said, the food was good). Granted, people may generally go to tea rooms for the experience but this was not one we care to repeat. The prices are inflated; the atmosphere was sad, dank, and dead. Doubt that I'll be coming back anytime soon.

Dickens Coffee & Tea Room has a great ambiance with a very intimate setting. The sandwiches are delicious and the staffs are very hospitable. I highly recommend this Tea Room to anyone who’s looking for a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere.

really enjoyed having tea with a friend on Saturday. The tea sandwiches and scones were excellent. I loved the fact this tea room offered my favorite Tea Forte!

This is such a cute little tea room with a nice variety of teas. My friends and I came for afternoon tea and ended up staying for hours! The tea sandwiches, cheeses, and scones included in the afternoon tea were such a fun addition to our get together. We will definitely be back!!
