Our first time in Destin and we went here for lunch after kayak fishing and the food was fresh and delicious! Great portions too! Love the eating area on the dock. This place is awesome!

Excellent mom and pop family owned place. Had the Lionfish lunch special. It was excellent . This is a quiet no frills restaurant. Fried shrimp is amazing too. This is no frills. Very casual.

Don't be put off by the appearance, this place is great! The food was amazing, we had grilled scallops, stuffed shrimp, and grouper. It was all delicious! Save room for dessert, the key lime pie is delish!

This is a favorite place to come for lunch. Most of the menu items are delicious and the location is very good. You eat on the pier over the water, which is neat. One thing is don't feed the birds or they will attack you for your food and poop on you

Growing up it was always the hole in the wall places that I loved eating at the most. It's no different now. Fantastic place to eat some seafood right on the docks. The Stuffed Shrimp left me depressed that I don't live close enough to have it all the time.

First, it's not as dumpy as some of the reviews make it sound like. It's rustic for sure. The staff was as helpful and friendly as you can imagine, and the food is the best. Fried catfish, crab cakes, stuffed fried shrimp and hush puppies were all amazing. Cheaper than most water front fish shacks, but you'll still end up paying about $20/per. Worth it.

Loved it! All week long we asked for recommendations from the locals. They all said Dewey Destin's. They were right!

Good food fast! Huge portions! Can't wait to come back!

One of our favorite places but most modern people won't like it. People today want fake, make believe dinning experiences where they can feel rich. This place is a dive And the best kind of dive. Dirty and funky but in all the right ways. Food cooked to order when you order. No A/C inside or out. Limited parking. Hard to find. Seagulls. Non seafood options available. We go almost every time we're in town.

We went not knowing what to expect. The line was long, but moved fairly quickly. We followed the line and ordered food then found a couple tables. The food was very quick to come out and it was delicious! Absolutely delicious!! Both the seafood and the beef were perfect. The portions were good and the prices were comparable to other local places. We really enjoyed our meal and will be back!

Pretty rough looking place but they definitely know how to fry food. My wife had the grilled Grouper Basket and really liked it. If your looking for a nice place to eat, this isn't the place. However, if picnic tables, plastic utensils, and good food are what you want, then this is the place for you :)

The only reason this place got the star it got was that people that work there are awesome and my daughter liked the shrimp.

Otherwise, the place is a dump in a beautiful location. It looks like a condemned shack when you enter.

You have to drive through a sketchy alley to get there and the foot portions were embarrassingly small.

I got a grilled grouper sandwich and it was 80% bread. The fish was amazing, just wished I had a little more of it.

Cmon guysword of mouth is bringing people to this awesome location. Clean it up and treat the customers with abundant portions that will make them feel they are getting a value.

We had a late lunch, 2 sandwiches and my daughter's "colossal portion" shrimp dinner (that's what it says on the menu), 2 bottled beers, and my dinner was $65! I'm still pissed about getting taken for a ride.

I was upset that a trusted friend recommended this place as we were walking back to the car. Fooled again.

You can do better and better is expected, especially when there are other places that provide much, much more for the money in terms of food, experience, and ambiance.

If you're looking for food that is "healthy" keep on moving. If you're looking for food that is so delicious you won't be able to stop eating until you hate yourself, this is the place for you. Also, if you're looking for a 5 star restaurant with top of the line amenities you're going to be disappointed. This is a down home no frills eatery, the food is the attraction, not the building or pier, although the sunsets from the pier are divine.

Frequently my family and I vacation to Gulf Shores Alabama, and we always reserve one day to take a trip to Destin to see the beautiful water and specifically eat here. My favorite menu item is the crab stuffed, bacon-wrapped shrimp. Also the hush puppies are wonderful.

Generally around 7-8pm the line to order can be long, and finding a table can be hard as well. I recommend having one person with your group go save a table while you order for them and yourself.

Don't feed the seagulls.seriously don't be that guy.

I cannot believe the reviews i have read. Lousy service, water tasting funny, small portions of food. The place look like a dump. Was recommended by a friend to eat here. Not gonna happen! Too many other places to eat that have better service and are more professional!

We went Dewey Destin's in late December 2016. At first sight, the restaurant was just a dumpy shack on the pier and look like it had not
been maintained or remodeled in years. I ordered the recommended trigger fish and my wife had a salad with trigger fish. My fish arrived grilled with french fries. It was a relatively small portion and the fries were standard diner fries. This was maybe a $15 meal, for $30, you expect a lot more. My wife had a salad that was simply drenched in balsamic vinegar with rock hard flavorless tomatoes. No one should
drop $60-70 for this garbage. Dewey Destin's please do everyone a favor and go out of business and don't believe the good reviews on this restaurant. They must be phony good reviews, no one could actually like the crap they put out.
