March 19, 2018 - First time patient of Detamatology Associates of Kentucky (Lexington Location).
Very impressed with the warm welcome by staff members, the very clean and attractive office, and promptness of seeing me at the time of my appointment. They didn’t keep me waiting very long once taken back to the patient/exam room.
My appointment was with PA Braye Rueff and I could not be more pleased with how easy she was to talk with and discuss my concerns. She and her assistants were extremely through and quickly took care of a couple of skin problems I was concerned about.
If you want expert advise and treatment I highly recommend PA Braye Rueff and Detmatology Associates.

My experience with them is beyond infuriating. And I haven’t even seen a doctor yet! I called the location in Beaumont Center (near my home) to make an appointment. Well when I went in I was told that Dermatology Associates of KY was only at that location on Wednesdays. If I call the location in Beaumont then that’s obviously where I want to have my appointment at and if that’s not possible then I expect the person I’m speaking with to let me know that it will be at the other location! Wasted two hours of sick time! So I reschedule my appointment for the next week at the other location (which is all the way across town). So I go to that building for my appointment and all the doors are locked! I called the office and of course the office is closed due to inclement weather! No courtesy call on this? Seriously?! And the weather isn’t even that bad! Another two hours of sick time wasted. Thank you for absolutely nothing. I will be taking my business else where and definitely will not be recommending this place to anyone as they can’t even handle things as simple as common courtesy. How do you guys even keep this business running?

The staff was really friendly. The day I visited was really busy and they were running behind. Multiple people apologized to me for the delay which I am not used to at a medical facility. The doctor I saw was very friendly and social. I would recommend this facility over my local dermatologist.

My young son had a condition that remained a mystery to numerous doctors for the past 3 years. At our very first appointment Stacey had more than 5 different doctors filter in to take a look and give their opinion and we were able to walk away with a diagnosis and treatment plan, finally! I am so incredibly thankful to the team and to a family friend who recommended that we visit this group. Thank you so much Stacey!

Read the reviews before my visit and had mixed feelings. Upon my visit I found the staff and Dr Fisher to be top of the line. I could not have asked for a better visit. The people writing bad reviews about this company are either babies or have another motive. There are a lot of babies out there though. I would very highly recommend this office to anyone. I am not sure why my post showed two stars because I hit five? Just wanted to clarify

Stacy Smallwood is amazing! I recommend her for sure. She went above and beyond and was very quick with my appointment. I left feeling reassured of my worries, I felt that she touched based on every topic I was concerned about. She even helped me with affordable options. She is great!!

I absolutely love this office. The staff were all very kind and understanding. I have seen various doctors and physician assistants in the office and each of them has excellent bedside manner and took the time to make sure my problems were addressed. I highly recommend any of the doctors here.

Be prepared to wait on any Dr people! They are not just hanging out. It would appear to me that they are spending time with other patients, addressing their needs. Isn't this what we all want? It's NOT a drive through clinic.

I have seen Dr De Castro in my early appointments starting several years ago. I am currently seeing Dr Repass because her schedule permits shorter wait times to schedule appointments. She has been thorough in her examinations and successful in treating my skin issues. Dr Repass's clinical assistant is excellent in promptly returning phone calls and conveying information to and from the Doctor. Wait times for actual appointments have been reasonable. I would recommend this Group to others for dermatology issues.

I was told to arrive early so I could fill out paperwork for my first appointment. I arrived 30 minutes before my appointment and wasn't seen until 50 minutes after my scheduled appointment. That's almost an hour and a half of my time wasted. The staff was very unapologetic with an attitude of "that's just how it is." I don't plan to return here again. I had a sitter at home that needed to leave at a certain time and it caused her to be late to her appointment as well. Very negative experience.

Dr. Ramsey is the dermatologist I was given on a referral for skin cancer. She kept me waiting quite a while the first time. When I went back after my surgery, she kept me waiting 50 minutes, and then the exam was a half-hearted incomplete full body check. I would not see her again.

Dr. Blackmon removed a large skin cancer from my face. I was pleased with his surgery, but I was not pleased with the follow up visits. He kept me waiting 1 hour and 10 minutes for the first one, and 35 minutes for the second one. I don't have any objection to his medical care, but his lack of timeliness and his staff would keep me from seeing him again.

It appears that being on time for appointments is an issue with this practice.
