Clean place with room to spare. The picnic areas are nice, there's a beach area but it is closed for the winter.

Had a great weekend with family and friends. The park does a great job at making the camp sites safe during trick or treating. We even had a friendly park ranger stop in for a warm cup of coffee!

Great campground with a great lake to go boating and swimming in, and there are also many trails to hike/bike and areas to have picnics. My family went there for Christmas in July weekend, and there were all sorts of fun activities for children, teens, and families. People had Christmas decorations up around their campsites, and it was an all-around cute and fun experience.

We love this lake. It's quieter than some around here. Campsites are nice big and clean. There's a variety of activities to enjoy in the park. boating, fishing, swimming, biking, hiking, and Frisbee golf. There are lots of different picnic areas scattered throughout the park. All have grills some with shelter houses. There's a playground and fishing pond just for the kids. If you are in central Ohio and are looking for a quiet state park, it doesn't get any better than Delaware

This is a Beautiful Park and Lake which they keep very manicured and pretty as far as the lawn goes. The restrooms were absolutely filthy, and buildings are run down. We still had a great time here, and the Lake is Gorgeous. They have a decent beach, and a nice playground area for younger children. It is a great place for Yoga, Jogging, Bike Riding, and Meditation. It is also nice for kayaking, Yoga Boarding, Padale Boarding, and those kinds of recreational activities. The Marina is rundown with filthy restrooms which I wouldn't recommend using, but the Park itself is Beautiful Area.

Great state park with lots of camping spots. Very spread out area with relative seclusion in some camp sites. They have a beach area, marina, picnic pavilion and even a screen for movies outside. Be sure to bring your bug spray, as the mosquitos are some of the worst I have ever experienced. Also, cell coverage is spotty at best - so be prepared to disconnect for a while (or at least take a walk to get coverage). I look forward to camping here again!

Have been camping here for over thirty years. Well kept and maintained park that is family oriented. My family has camped hiked swam and boated this park and have many good memories.

Thus location has a little bit of everything for this who love outdoor activities. Lots of hiking trails, family picnic areas, shelter houses, great fishing and lots of available campground room and family friendly activities.

Delaware state park. Very well kept in February. Very open camping. Not bad but not great place for hammock camping. You are far from the fire into the woods. A ranger told us to collect wood on phone. We saw signs that said you couldn't do so. Gas station, Wendy's, big lots, are the closes stores. Gas station sells wood about 10-15minutes from campground. Biggest down fall was you can hear the highway from through the distance. Not alot of trails. Every site had electric.

I visited during the off season. I'll be interested to see once it's summer how the place is. I've heard great things about the park but during the off season it's dead. I was hoping I'd still be able to hike and wonder around the ground with my dog but they had gates over most of the roads and trails weren't overly accessible. The signs were sort of confusing as well. I wish there was some sort of welcoming Center as you entered. I've never been in the summer so maybe there is. I'll have to update later in the year.

Great place for local camping, hunting and nature buffs. Has a great play ground for kids and covers a great amount of area with disc golf, hiking, and fishing.
It seems the headquarters is actually Alum Creek though.
