  We bought 3 strip steaks yesterday, they were so chewy my dog could not eat them. Walmart sells better meat. Save your money and go there.

  Fantastic jerky. Great local beer selection. Friendly people at the counters. You can always find rabbit and other hard-to-find meats, and if they don't have what you need, they'll get it for you. We've been customers for a long time. Thanks for all you do!

  This small locally owned convenience store is friendly, and offers everything you'd expect, beer, wine, liquor, normal convenience store items also. But if that is the only reason you come, you'll miss out. The owner makes a variety of items. Their Bratwurst were excellent, and are a great start to any summer cookout. But don't leave without trying their Jerky. Actually, as the owner explained to me, they can't legally call it jerky by USDA standards, as it would need to have a lower moisture content. What you will find, is that it is excellent! It is all hand cut and smoked in their smoker, and is simply the best I've ever had. They have a wide variety of meats, spices and flavors. Beware, the jerky is addictive, you'll serve it to friends and family, and quickly determine it is magic as it simply disappears!

  Bought some cowboy jerky at the Western Michigan Golf Show. We cannot wait until spring for our trip up to Traverse City to buy more. This is the best jerky I have ever tasted.
