This MOTEL is for migrant workers or those who are in the area for a short period of time. There were ppl hanging out side. Ppl were sitting in the bed of a pickup truck drinking beer. The other men were shirtless in the other side of the building. There were empty beer bottles lining the building down stairs and upstairs. The room was stink even with the AC on. The bed spread had burn holes in it. I'm glad I'm up to date with my vaccines. The best part of the MOTEL was Wal-Mart was right beside it. I purchased bedding for me and my daughter to sleep on comfortable. The reason we didn't leave was because my father was there and be paid for the room. I didn't want to be ungrateful. FYI, Holiday Express and other Hotels are in the same area. NEVER AGAIN.

Best hospitality experience I think I've ever had at a hotel! I wasn't expecting much for a budget room, but the operators were incredibly accommodating. We had driven all night and they sympathetically called and let us know right when a room was open so we could rest as long as possible. They were polite and hospitable.
In the morning, the breakfast spread was better than expected! There were many options and everything was layed out nicely. The room was adequately clean and there was absolutely no smokey smell.
Also, my mom really wanted to sit outside, and even though their pool was closed for the season the hotel opened the area for her and let us sit by the pool.

Pretty bad experience. In the rooms, the A/C system will either leave you freezing or burning up. There is no middle ground. And TV remotes only operate in CATV mode.

My brother in law and sister just stayed there due to hurricane Irma. They came up evacuating from Hilton Head Island. Actually just after leaving and even on the way home after a 4 night stay he noticed what looked like a big bite on his arm.
It turned out to be Serious MRSA VIRUS. This hotel has to take guest safety seriously. They stayed here because my other sister had a pet allowed here but now to his serious illness. He's been In the hospital since Monday when the "bite"which was not was found to be this serious. As described this newer hotel has little maintenance and very little care for cleanliness. They may need to step that up before deaths happen due to negligence

We enjoyed our stay, the clean room, comfortable bed and the breakfast filled us up over the busy weekend. We will definitely stay here again. The location is perfect and the price is reasonable for a weekend stay.

My room had a baby roach infestation.
    "Amenities" were less than par.
No alarm clock. Asked front desk for one and they did not deliver.
Pool and gym area were trashed and disgusting.
This used to be the best motel in Simpsonville. I honestly do not know what happened!
    Thumbs down.
