Food is terrible!! My husband found a french fry at the bottom of his nachos. Steak was unedible. My mothers coffee cup was filthy. This place is not as upscale as it used to be.

went there yesterday, the ribs were very good BUT they charge 75cents for gravy to put over your mashed potatoes! Needless to say didn't order mashed potatoes!! Very nice server but they only had one bottle of coors light and there CO2 for draft beer wasn't working!!

Unfortunately, this place is awful. The floor is sticky which is horrible considering the floorplan consists of carpet (mostly). The quality of the food has gone down significantly. I ordered the Chicken and Broccoli Alfredo and something in the dish was spoiled. The wait staff was very nice and offered to replace it with something else. I declined as I didn't want to add to the food poisoning. I would give it 1 star but the wait staff was great. We had a vegan family in our party and the waitress worked with the kitchen to get them a dish they could eat.

Sadly this used to be my favorite restaurant years ago in Toledo so imagine my excitement knowing they were opening one in Sandusky where I now spend a lot of my time. The owner of this establishment needs to review customer satisfaction. The food is horrible and the restaurant smells awful like it hasn't been cleaned well. Even the appearance of the floor is awful. Its in a prime location too with a great view of the lake! A location like this should be packed all year around yet it is dead during prime hours of the day / week. There's your sign.you need to make some changes or you're going under. Until there is a serious turn around, I am no longer visiting and I suggest others not to visit as well. For the money I could have eaten two meals of much better quality.

Went here with family after a funeral, soon as we walked in the floor was sticky, unswept, we had to walk upstairs (not a big issue except for the person in our group that was pregnant and was going to have the baby any day). Would imagine that it's a seasonal business
Even though we went at the end of September nobody was there on a Sunday night. There was just my group (20 people) and a group of 6 people at the other end of the restraunt. Had a bad vibe to it, handicapped bathroom stall door didn't lock, so only one bathroom working. Menus where ripped up and pretty much crumbled when you held it, despite the carpet not being swept, tables being sticky and pretty much all of 3 people there running it , it was a bad experience. Didn't even have to sit down for food before I realized it. (Plus no service when we sat down, left right after that) would recommend going somewhere else that is worth your money. Hope this helps

Unlike some, I had a good experience at the restaurant. They left Columbus Ohio sometime ago and we, my friend and I, had been missing them. The food was good, there were big portions and even though they had run out of Raspberry ice tea, we had a kind waiter and didn't have any major trouble. We also loved the onion loaf.

Do NOT under any circumstance go to this place. I can't even bring myself to call it a restaurant. Menu's crumbling in your hand. Out of two different types of wine. Veggies came out frozen, as in completely frozen with frost steaming off of them. Prime rib ordered medium as was so well done that a hunk of rubber would have been preferable to eat. Daughters mac and cheese came out 15 minutes after the rest of us had gotten our meal. Very dirty and grimy. A/C not functioning whatsoever. Even if you have been walking through a desert for 3 days with out any food or water, just keep walking

We invited friends from Toledo to have lunch because of the wonderful view. Our first loaf of onions was so well done that they couldn't even be picked up. Then our server said that she gave us the wrong order and brought us a whole loaf. These were better, but were so over salted that we couldn't eat them. Several of us ordered the pulled pork sandwich. The pork was hard and in chunks that couldn't be eaten. We were given a discount. I was so disappointed because Damon's used to be wonderful and was crowded all the time. It was sad that even though there were only several tables of people. We still had to wait 1/2 hr for our bill. I hope the management will get it together before it closes again!!!

Terrible slow service. Portion to price ratio is a joke. Great view if you could see through the dead bugs on the windows. The food came out not as described. Went for drinks later out of convenience. bad idea. Place is empty and still slow service. Go somewhere else.. and ants all over the bar. John tafford where are you bro.

We were seated right away, waited on within 5 minutes, then waited over an hour for our food. We had lost track of time talking and taking in the beautiful view of the lake. When our food finally arrived, it was dangerously undercooked and lacking sides and toppings. We received an apology and $0 bill from the waitress who was very sweet. Aside from the waitress, we were basically ignored by all the staff. There seemed to be only 3 people running the whole place. We are so disappointed as this used to be a wonderful restaurant with great food. I would be surprised if this place is still open next year. I have never had a worse experience in a restaurant.

REALLLY NEEDS A REFURB!!! Gross sticky carpet man! But hey, it's obvious that the place is old, but with these prices, they definitely can afford to spruce the place up. Service wasn't too bad, food was ok.

This place is awful!! Waited forever for someone to wait on us. There were only 5 of us and only 3 other people or families there. The onion loaf was grease logged and tastes burnt. The spinach artichoke dip was cold, and watery with about 10 chips on the side. Serving size was as small as a little coffee cup. 8.99 way way over priced. They were out of everything it seemed like, couldn't even have a salad because they are out. I give it a 0 out of ten. Oh wait, the diet Pepsi was good. Service was so bad the other tables waitress was refilling our drinks

Well it's not a wonder these places are all going under and closing. The whole place was dirty Sticky tables, sticky floor, sticky plates. We stood at the front for 10 minutes, there was no hostess and apparently no one saw us standing there. We sat down and ordered, well tried to, but apparently someone forgot to turn the stove on to heat up any soup, so that was not available. But ok, that's fine, we ordered something else the onion appetizer was great. Salad was inedible. Rice was inedible. BBQ chicken was burnt. Potato was ok. Steak was good, but not cooked the way it was requested. Kids meals were good.
The 2 waitresses we're talking loudly at the bar about how they hated their jobs and how they couldn't wait to go get "messed up" after work. I'm all for dressing the way you want, but when the waitress has to dig at her bra and "accidentally" flops out of her low cut shirt because it doesn't actually fit her, something needs to change. Not to mention the amount of time she spent digging her ultra tight jeans out of her butt. If I wanted half naked servers, i would have gone to a strip club. They would probably have better food too
Worse of all was the cook who kept getting himself beer. He came out of the kitchen 3 times while we were there and would fill a foam cup with beer and start drinking it while walking back into the kitchen.
This place used to be nice. I don't know what happened..
