Great when purchasing flooring, but terrible when something goes wrong. We were treated with pure disrespect upon walking through the door. The moment we told them we told them we wanted to return something they totally switched gears and started looking for things we did wrong. Instead of being nice and letting us know they couldn't take it back, which happens sometimes and could have been understood, they completely turned up their noses at us and made it seem like it was our faults and that we were being completely ridiculous for asking. The salesman who sold us the floor tried to act like he never told us it would be ok to return it, which he did several times. Horrible customer service!
These folks are the best! I always get a great deal, and am treated very fairly. I really enjoy working with Barry, Todd, and Seth!
Great atmosphere. Pleasant and knowledgeable staff. One of the nicest showrooms in the country with millions in inventory. I would highly recommend to anyone.
We were on the search for unfinished hardwood. I spoke to Chad on the phone and he gave me a price I could hardly believe. We walked in the door to an extremely positive atmosphere!
Taylor helped us today and was so informative. We got to see the product in person and found some we absolutely love!
I recommend them to anyone looking for helpful, kind, informative customer service and amazing ( literally amazing) prices.
They also have a huge selection of all types of flooring.

Very pleased with my purchase of wood flooring. Bought tavern grade and it was exactly what I expected. Salesman was very friendly and didn't try to up sell me. Will need carpet soon and this will be the first place I check.
Avoidance and blaming the installers are the way these people deal with problems. Purchased hardwood floor two weeks ago. Was assured that it was first quality hardwood flooring. After letting the wood acclimate, installers started working on the install. Installers ran into consistency problems with boards varying in width - off by 16th of inch and with ends of boards not being square, so that they didn’t butt up against each other properly, leaving gaps in the boards. Factory rep agreed there is an issue with the board widths. I asked for three things - compensation to cover the extra cost associated with having to deal with inconsistent manufacturing, a copy of the warranty, extra wood to fully cover any extra cull rate.
I was told they would go back and look at the invoices and get back to me on a price adjustment. Never heard back.
In the calls I have made to them, the tactic seems to be to blame it on the installer, although they stated at the time of the visit to my home that they didn't see any issues with the installation. They did admit to seeing problems with the board widths.
Later, I was told they would give the installer their next flooring job at cost, to compensate for the installation issues. I am the one that paid for this job and I am the one who bears the extra expense and headache related to the defects. When I told Ty this, he said he wasn’t aware that I was paying by the hour and “that was a different circumstance entirely”….he would get back with the manufacturer rep immediately and get back to me - I have not heard from anyone since Friday, October 30, 4p.m.
It is like pulling teeth to get this resolved. Every conversation has been initiated by me. Dalton Wholesale Floors has yet to pick up the phone to call me.
Clearly Dalton Wholesale Floors does not care about the customer enough to follow through on resolution.
Ty – you have my number. Barry and Todd – Ty can get you my number.
