Truly a great fun place to go. We had a private room with 1 other party and before the evening was over it was all one big party. The food is good and you can eat off the sushi menu from next door if you want, so there's something for everyone. A little pricey but then again, what's a good time worth?
The staff here can seem a little stiff, but they're always polite and helpful. The food, though, has always been above board - delicious and plentiful - for me and for those I've dined with. Highly recommended.
Made reservations, was on time. Took them 15 minutes to even come as us if we'd like drinks. Ordered a beer and a mixed drink, never received water or asked if we would like any. Finally after another 10 minutes came back and took our order. The food was out quick. I ordered the seafood fettuccine and my husband order the ribeye. Spent close to $100 and the food was so so. Not very much seafood in the fettuccine. 3 piece of shrimp, 2 scalps, and it's very thin slice of lobster. Like a she read of finely cute cheese. Not impressed. Went for my husband's birthday and celebrating coming back from maui from our honeymoon. Not recommended on coming here.
My wife and I are seafood pasta connoisseurs. We've been looking for a place that comes the closest to the southern states that have fresh seafood and good creamy pasta. This one wins the award hands down. Best Cajun pasta in the city. Give it a try!
Great food, great service, bartenders know how to pour a drink.
Apparently you cannot call in your to-go order at 10:30 for an 11:00 pickup. This became apparent only today as I have ordered for pick up at around 10:30 so less than half a dozen times in the past year. A female employee informed me that she has "worked here for three years and I can call back at 11:00 when the kitchen opens." Not sure of the upside to this protocol? I would think that more orders=more money. I would also assume (naively?) that the kitchen might like to get a jump start/put in prep, as to maintain a workflow that is pleasing to themselves as well as the clientele. Maybe I assume to much. I will call back at 10:58 so that I may have time to discuss the aforementioned prior to my order.
The seafood is very fresh, definitely worth getting the Ahi Tuna (try it blackened). Good beer on tap and there is sometimes live music in the back room. The buffalo shrimp and fried oysters are decent starters.
Service is excellent. Tuesday night Filet is very good and worth it for a truly, tender, delicious steak. Must be good as it is place where the locals tend to come on a regular basis according to the wait staff
Very good food and service at a decent price.
Classic Northside spot, elegant or casual, whatever you want it to be. Feel good music always on tap - become a regular, you won't regret it.
Nice spot. Classy environment, great food and service. I've been here several times and never had an issue with any of my dishes. Recently had the Korean Beef Tacos and they were absolutely amazing (unfortunately a special and not on the menu). Same goes for the Clam Chowder - terrific!
Perfect place for a business lunch. Excellent service! I had a wonderful Cobb salad. Definitely be returning to try other dishes. They all looked delicious!
Met some friends for drinks and dinner. Sat in the bar room in the back. This room is not easy to find unless you know where to look. The bar room had a very upscale feel to it. Service was good. The food was hit or miss. We were there on a Thursday after work and there was a band preparing to play in the bar room. We left before they started but going by the sound checks, it would have been extremely loud in there and not conducive to having a conversation.
