I originally made a phone call to DC meats to purchase a case of chicken breasts and was misinformed slightly. One of the workers found out about this miscommunication and immediately took action to make the interaction beyond enjoyable. She went out of her way to make sure our chicken was packaged/processed just like we wanted it. I cannot remember her name, but her customer service was beyond great. She and another gentleman made up for the earlier miscommunication. I give DC meats 5 stars because they have quality products and their customer service makes us want to continue going there.

We drive 2 1/2 hours to drop off our venison. The dc sticks and summer sausage are amazing!

Wonderful local butcher shop. The absolute best service in town and excellent quality meats. We especially love the discount pricing when ordering in bulk. 1/2 cow pricing is excellent!

We always shop here when visiting our friends in Mishawaka. Seriously we enjoy it everytime. I personally like all the sausages they have like brats, onion chedder, etc. The homemade potato salad (red potato) was really great this trip. We ended up getting 3lbs over the course of the week. I plan to bring a bigger cooler to take home more next time.

They were friendly as all get out- even staying open a few extra minutes and explaining some products to us. This place is THE go-to if you're into healthy, grass fed, organic meats, eggs, butter, cheese, etc. AND they have health products from raw apple cider vinegar to Himalayan salt chunks. For our family this place was an amazing find because the sausages have NO sugar in them. They also have a (frozen) salt only bacon for just over $5.00/lb. The location is convenient, parking ample, and the store is neat as a pin. Don't think about it, just go.

Terrible, terrible, terrible customer service. After one too many mistakes with my order, none of the employees, or owner, ever apologize or work to make it up. Instead, they are quick to blame the customer. Take your business elsewhere. They don't value customer loyalty.

Great place to shop. I was just in awe of all the items in the store everything so neat and clean. There was no odor like some meat markets are. I have found a place to shop that is very friendly and accommodating. The service is just wonderful.

We have been looking for a good meat market in our area. We tried a few including Whole Foods and a couple in Michigan. This was by far THE BEST!!! It was more expensive than the two markets in Michigan and is pretty comparable in price to Whole Foods. The customer service was above and beyond helpful and friendly. The meat looks very fresh, the environment is clean and appealing and the meat quality is excellent. It makes me wonder what in the world I've been feeding my family all these years!? I was floored the first time I cooked and ate the meat I purchased. Best part is that you're supporting a local business. We may have to bounce between DC Meats and Whole Foods depending on what's on sale since they are both pricey but DC Meats is our new first choice for sure!!
