Cypress Tavern is a cozy restaurant inspired by stylish and classy American food. Our experience was for brunch, which featured live music and an elegant atmosphere. The food was succulent, first class attention and drinks and cocktails were duly prepared by an experienced bartender.

Another hidden gem in Miami. I loved everything about this place. Food. Service. Ambience. Drinks. EVERYTHINGGG. Especially any dishes that where made on the grill (steaks). One thing that bothered me was that our server took FOREVER explaining the menu. I already knew what I wanted in my head and she went to much into detail about everything. I'm all for servers giving a brief overview about specials and what not but not a detail book report on every single line item. Midway through her explanation, my husband and I both looked at each other and thought is she done yet? lol But not enough of a bother to deduct a star so 5 stars for this place.

It's a hidden hip place for date night or a double date. Had brunch here, the mimosas were great and the ambiance was wonderful. I ordered polenta with wild mushrooms. The mushrooms were not cooked and the polenta was undercooked as well (very grainy). Overall I would go back to try something else and for the experience.

Smaller place than I expected. We came for dinner. The service was amazing as expected. Drinks were a solid 5 stars, I was very impressed with the creativity in the bar department. The food was very good as well. Starting off with some Zacks bread and homemade butter was nice. I had the burger since I've been meaning to try it. The burger itself was awesome, the server pumped up the fries, but I didn't find them to be particularly good. The citrus cured salmon was decent. Mixed bag, but overall a good establishment, and reasonable prices for the quality.

I absolutely loved my experience at The Cypress Room. First of all, the decor is fantastic - one wall is covered with historic photos hung salon style, another is filled with stuffed elk heads, and the rest are decorated with beautiful damask wallpaper. The restaurant is also filled with a golden light that makes everyone look like a movie star. The swanky atmosphere is complimented by the jazz music playing in the background and super attentive service. If you ever want to feel like you are in a (good) Woody Allen film, then you have to come to the Cypress Room. And, the food definitely matches the decor. My husband and I enjoyed our meal immensely. The shrimp appetizer and coconut cake were highlights for me. When I return to Miami, I will definitely come back!
