  Stayed here with my sister for a few days. Everything was better than expected.
  
  I had found this place because it was within our price range. (Ie. Cheaper than quite a few other places.) Pleasantly surprised by how updated the bathroom was.
  
  Plenty of parking in the alley behind.
  The front desk clerk was very friendly.
  Was able to walk to each side of the island with no issue.
  
  Overall, I would definitely stay there again.

  Great location, comfortable beds, friendly staff. Showers sometimes ran out of hot water but wouldn't take long for the water to heat up again. Would definitely stay again if convenient.

  Crown Bistro was fantastic, I stopped here for breakfast and had a delicious crab omlete with Jack cheese and tomatillo sauce, it was fantastic. Prompt, friendly service.

  My husband and I love this place! We were here on vacation in 2011 we spent 12 days here and in 2017 we took a spur-of-the-moment vacation so we didn't get a chance to book ahead of time but we did get to spend one night there!! We will definitely be back it's a great place to stay, very friendly, very clean and close to the beach in Coronado!!! Here are a few pictures I took in 2017. Also there Bistro makes amazing bananas Foster's alamode!!

  4th of July was our fourth time staying at Crown City Inn and it is hard to go anywhere else. The hotel staff is so nice, the location being close to the park is great for kids and special events, the free bikes are a huge plus as is the free parking. The hotel restaurant is very popular and the lobby puts out the most delicious free cookies each afternoon. With all this at a great price the value is to good to pass up. Cant wait for our next visit.

  Cozy room with a nice walk in shower. It had nice amenities and nice temperature control. The bed was comfortable and they provided really good cookies in the afternoon. Small pool with no jacuzzi. They provided free bike rentals and have a semi nice restaurant next door. Pretty close to the stores and shops. Would recommend.

  Pleasantly surprised. Very clean large rooms in this small Motel on Coronado Island. Breakfast opens a little late. Coffee in the room, fridge and microwave also. Affordable. Really nice and helpful staff. Have bikes and boogie boards for guests. Will stay there again for sure.

  It was such a beautiful little inn. We loved the room. The bathroom was beautifully remodeled and the staff was very friendly. The most exciting feature for our family was the free bike rentals that was provided. Very nice staff accommodated us. By far the best value for the money on the island.

  Beautiful location just blocks from the beach. Close to a grocery and drug store. Highly recommend the bistro attached for breakfast. Very nice cleaning staff. They always ask if we need our room clean. Heated pool

  Absolutely incredible! We were weary from the road and it was so nice to arrive here! We were greeted so kindly and friendly at check in which was late at night. The girl at the desk explained where everything was and was so gracious. They have boogie boards, bikes, umbrellas and beach chairs that are complimentary! Coffee and nice air conditioning! We love it!!!!

  I'm reluctant to give Crown City 5☆ for I want this hidden gem to remain hidden. Not only is the inn quaint & clean with an ideal location...the staff is REMARKABLE! Really! I've had 3 interactions with the property in only 1 month..and have been impressed every time. The manager and another gal that works up front couldnt be more friendly & accomodating.
