This has been an incredible and eye opening experience! The results were available in less than 3 weeks from the date sample was mailed and the reports I received are a total of about 40 pages of information! I have seen pie charts other companies offer and CRI Genetics blows a silly pie chart out of the water! I 110% recommend ordering and testing with CRI Genetics - you WON'T regret it!!!
This is the best ancestry app! Plus, you don’t have to spit into a tube. So much easier, by far!! I did this for my mom who had Alzheimer’s because we did not know her true ancestry. Very enlightening!
My report from CRI genetics seemed to confirm what I already knew about my ancestry, but had some interesting unexpected surprises that made me really think about all the places my ancestors travelled to and how and when they did it. I am glad you do an advanced timeline because it made me realize that I am not 100 percent European, but also Asian, Native American, East Indian, and black. Your analysis makes more sense than the Native American one I got from Genomelink, but then reality does not often fit what we think is the truth. I am still wondering how a Peruvian ancestor met an Italian in 125 A.D. but maybe that is not at all what happened. CRI genetics does open up a whole new world of who we are
I was amazed to find out how diverse my heritage is, and that only 2.5% of my DNA belongs to the country where I was born. There were a lot of things in the reports that matched my physical characteristics not to mention abilities and health related information.
I am very pleased with the level of detail, and now I'm curious about the maternal and paternal haplo, which I'm going to buy as well.
I was amazed at the amount of detail and useful health information that was provided. I was very impressed at a suggested diet to follow to reach and maintain optimum health, with meal plans and recipes included. The health information was spot on and not just a generalization. It's strange to find out that the pull I've always felt towards certain cultures are actually in my DNA, so this was a bonus for me. Also going back 20 generations was exciting. I'm looking forward to learning more.
