Stunning view from the back yard area, great fire pit, indoors is decorated beautiful with string lights that surprisingly aren’t tacky. Banquet servers were very accommodating with water refills and clearing of plates. Wish you didn’t have to walk outside to a separate building for restrooms.
Only negative from our experience was a couple rude bartenders throughout the event. Also there was no proper last call made, just closed the bar.

I can't say enough about how pleased we are with the people at The Crest Center! I think the aesthetics of this place speaks for itself, but it's the people that make this place run that impressed me the most. I would recommend this venue to ANYBODY that is thinking of getting married in Western North Carolina. This was the happiest day of my life, and having it there at The Crest Center was 100% the correct choice to make.

Josh and I got married at the Crest Pavilion on August 26th, 2017 and it could not have been a more perfect experience. What made us choose this venue was the experience with the Event Coordinator, Amy and her team. This is the PERFECT venue for your outdoor wedding in Asheville.

I was a guest at a recent wedding - Beautiful venue on the surface with great potential; however, had several disappointments..
- Hot - I assume there is no A/C.
- Candles were not lit when guests arrived - I (guest) grabbed a lighter and ran around trying to help. They did not have enough working lighters.
- Not conducive to bad weather.. It torrential poured just before the ceremony which was set up outside. Weather cleared to allow the ceremony, however grounds / chairs were drenched. They knew the weather was coming and should have prepared by covering the area with plastic. The grassy area would be better as a paved patio or something to set up for weddings outdoorsor at least paved walkways around the chairs and up the middle. Staff had a couple towels to wipe off a few chairs but not enough people helping, not enough towels..
- The food was great; however, some items sat empty for a while and not replenished. The tables were also not cleaned of plates, waters filled, etc.
- Many staff members were in T-shirts - inappropriately dressed for nice event. I was impressed with the bar staff.
- During cocktail hour, they had people walk around w trays and food. The servers stood in open spaces waiting for people to come to them for food instead of walking around and serving the food. Awkward. Not sure how this plays out from a cost perspective, but would have been better to have appetizer stations by the bars for people to serve themselves.
- They told the family they could tear down the following day, then changed it the night of the wedding and told them they had to tear down that night (even though there was no event the following day).

On a happy note, they did allow the family to bring in their own alcohol which some venues don't.. saved money there. The food was very good and bar staff was great.

My daughters wedding pictured can't be posted because the table cloths were so wrinkled! The attendant was horrible with helping the bridal party. Bring your own iron!

We had a wonderful June (2017) wedding at the Crest Pavilion! Amy, Lauren, and Emily were on top of every detail and made the planning so easy :) The guests couldn't stop raving about how beautiful our venue was, how good the food was and how great the service was. Picking Crest first made everything else that followed really fall into place. Start with them and you can't go wrong!

Had our Christmas party here. Is beautiful, throughout the building including a grand fireplace that makes a statement piece, and a very nice staff.

WARNING: You may run out of food! We got married on 10/22/16 and were later informed by multiple friends and guests of our families that we ran out of food. We were mortified. We emailed our contacts that the Crest Pavilion / M7 Event Solutions immediately and though apologetic, nothing was done, and no responsibility was taken. In fact, M7 admitted that the $400 bridal attendant did know that we ran out of prime rib for approximately 1 table and made a note of this. It was never mentioned to the wedding planner we also hired or to the bride / groom. We would have gladly paid for extra food, extended dinner service etc. had we been made aware. A good friend and guest of ours at the wedding who has spent much of his career in the restaurant/catering business noticed as this was happening and later told us he estimated about 3-4 tables did not get prime rib. He believes the problem was that the $85 carver portioned the pieces too large. Multiple guests also let us know that they ended up sharing their meat as the portion was so big and as others didn’t get any. Our appetizers also went super-fast to the point that the tray for the bride and groom was also eaten. Multiple tables didn’t even know we had fried green tomatoes. At every turn, M7 pointed the finger back at us: 1) extra ceremony chairs had to be brought out though not any extra chairs at the reception where the food was served 2) our guests were ‘heavy eaters’ though they were just eating the portions that M7 gave them 3) our wedding planner’s assistants went through the food line – yes, they did, and they were included in our guest count. In fact, we had 3 less guests show up than the count that was submitted.

Up until learning this, we loved our wedding at the Crest Pavilion and enjoyed working with M7. The venue is truly gorgeous, magical even. My advice had I read a review like this before we got married would be to 1) order more food than you think you would need as you can pay $30 for M7 to box up any leftovers. 2) discuss with M7 what happens if you do run out of food and get this written into your contract so you have recourse should this unfortunately happen to you. Our wedding planner realized the appetizers for the bride and groom were eaten and went back and asked the kitchen if there was anything else they could give us and apparently there wasn’t. That was quite surprising to us all. As mentioned earlier, there was a note made that we ran out of prime rib but is that what you would want? Just a note? Be clear as to what your expectations are if this occurs and discuss what M7 can and can’t do so that you’re prepared. Good luck!
