Owner has a nice personality but over the phone she quoted $40 for first hour then 2nd hour was free. Ended up using a dual kayak for 1 1/2 hrs & was charged $80. Definitely not worth the $$$. One thing is correctshe was crazyCrazy expensive!

My wife and I were first-time kayakers and had a wonderful experience. The owner was very accommodating and customer oriented. Our guide, Kim, did an awesome job of teaching us about kayaking, while sharing many interesting facts regarding the surrounding area and its marine and fowl wildlife.

Visiting the Florida Gulf Coast for the first time (Fort Myers Beach). Looking for things to do and had never kayaked before. This was a great experience (and a great workout paddling). My tour guide, Don, was very knowledgeable and personable. It was a very enjoyable experience taking the tour of San Carlos Bay by kayak. Highly recommend!

We visited in September 2014 and were very happy with our kayaks and advice on where to paddle in Estero Bay. We made it to Mound Key and back in under 4 hours.

This is the 2nd year in a row I have rented kayaks through this location and can't say enough amazing things!! Have rented from other placed but none compare. The owner is a wonderful person and the equipment is in great condition. Totally affordable for an experience you can't put a price on. I have never been closer to dolphin in manatee in my life! My vacations aren't complete without a visit to Crazy Woman Kayaks!!!!!

My wife and I took the Guided Tour as part of our 5 year anniverasry and it was a wonderful experience. The staff (and owner) were all nice, professional, and thoughtful people. Before our trip we got a quick lesson on how to work the Kayak and they even supplied us with bottled water for the journey (even asked if we had used the restroom recently =P ) The Guide was experienced enough to help couch us if needed and was aware and present in our current location to make sure we stay out of the way of boat traffic. During the trip she was very knowledge about the local wildlife and fauna and was able to communicate it in a fun and educational way. She also took us to a few "hotspots" were we got some great footage and pictures. I would absolutely recommend Crazy Woman Kayaks to anyone interested in a water based tour of the area!

Great experience. Tandem kayaks are the way to go so one person can rest while the other paddles! Great equipment and the dolphins swam right near our kayaks. Thank You!

Awesome day! Monte was a great guide. We had 2 families with 5 children ranging from 7 to 11.

Monte gave us a brief lesson/safety discussion and we were off kayaking in the sound. Monte took us to several great spots where we saw Manatees,Ospreys, Roseate Soonbill bird. We stayed out a little longer than scheduled until we finally saw some Dolphins.

Monte was very good with the kids. My 11 yr old son got a little tired on the way back, especially paddling against the outgoing tide and wind, so Monte tied a leash to his kayak and helped him till we got into calmer water.

Overall it was a great day and we would highly recommend Monte and Crazy Woman Kayaks.
