Very good food ,reasonably priced was a little crowded but not terrible, would return
Nice environment. Service was good. Water was plain old country well water. I had to buy a bottle of water. Orchard salad with chicken had good ingredients however the apple cider vinaigrette tasted like water with a bit of oil on my salad. My friends tell me the food was better then a few years ago.
Two hour drive for us, but it was worth every minute in the truck with three kids. The food was amazing, the cider/wine was delicious, the pie flight - amazing and the apple picking was fun. HIGHLY recommend making the drive. They have the World's best cherry ciderTHE WORLD'S BEST - legitimately - paperwork proves it. I have to say it was the best cherry cider I've ever tasted. The gift shop area was a bit pricey, but the restaurant was very reasonably priced. (5 meals, pie flight, cider flight and a glass of hard cider -$75). I had the Turkey burger while my daughter had the vegetarian - we cut ours in half and traded - every thing was phenomenal. My son and husband agreed their burgers were some of the best they'd ever had.
One thing I noticed and respect was they don't ask how you want your burger cooked - they bring it to you the way they make and it's perfect!
As always one of our favorite places to eat. We love the simple but eclectic menu. Ciders wines and items in the bait shop are also excellent. A fun place to bring friends and go to eat.
I love looking at all the antiques while I wait for my food. This restaurant is unique and very interesting. The food and spirits are great. If you have a chance to try this place out I definitely would. It's a not to miss spot.
Stopped for lunch. The food was excellent. I loved that they offered fresh veggies and hummus dip as a choice instead of chips/fries. Very delicious! Also saw a child's meal at the table over and they had beautiful fresh grapes as part of their meal. Wish more restaurants offered fresh choices like that !! Awesome! Our server was very nice and efficient. Also had desserts, so YUMMY! Kept wanting to go back there even though we were travelling north. It was also like visiting a museum with cool antiques and artifacts. We both love history, so it was super fun for us!
We loved our visit to Crane's Pie Pantry. I was especially pleasantly surprised by the gluten free offerings! A gluten free bun is available for all of their sandwiches. They also had gluten free fruit crisp for dessert which was delicious. We also enjoyed sampling a flight of their hard ciders and the Liaison which is a Bourbon barrel aged cherry cider. The whole place was charming and the staff was very friendly.
Unbelievable experience the pies here will destroy any discipline you might have fighting calories..The orchards are outside the door of this thriving bakery that was started over a hundred years ago..Don't forget to try a breakfast, it is absolute home cooking..
Friendly staff serving great food. You can share a sandwich as they are plenty big. Then you will have room for dessert.
Wonderful gluten free optians! Looked like there probably busy during afterwork hours. Very cozy on a weekday. Ate with no issues. Even got dessert!
First to visit on Labor Day. Although did not dine in restaurant we were glad we stopped by. Picked up some cider donuts, apple butter bread and a gallon of cider. The donuts were good. Had it at the outside dining area with coffee. Was not sure how good the cider was going to be. We had it when we got home. If I had known it was going to be that good I would have bought 2 gallons even at $7 a pop.
Food was classic American diner. Expect all of your grandparents favorite dishes, and made perfectly. Soooo kid friendly. Extremely cheap. And WORLD CLASS CIDER. Grounds are breath taking. If you want a slice of classic Americana, please stop by.
