This is a great beach. Waves great. Restrooms clean. You can get food at lots of places on the way to the beach. Four Seas ice cream is fabulous. That is across from Centerville Inn at 4 corners which is clean and cute place to stay. But the beach is worth the travel. Love it. One of my favorite summer destinations.
Just wonderful! Beautiful vistas, walking and biking everywhere, homey, clean, warm fall water. Highly recommend!
Love this beach! Nice, quiet, modern facilities with snacks & food available across the street. Good sized parking lot.
The beach scene itself wasn't bad. The staff was very friendly and helpful while we were parking. The beach itself was very clean. Unfortunately, like others stated the beach is extremely shell-y and rough so it's really uncomfortable to walk on. I would go back for the peace and quiet we were able to get.
Very nice quite beach. Does not seem to have a lot of people on it. Temp right now is about 78 maybe more will attend later. Has bathroom dressing rooms and a small take out place across the street. What more do you need? I guess it has everything. Ps bring your own umbrellas and chairs.
Such a great spot for family and friends. Get there early or no parking. Lot gets full fast on nice days.
While the parking was expensive, it was plentiful. And the beach made up for it with clean bathrooms, nice showers and especially the large stationary umbrellas perfect for those who forget their own and have little ones 😣 The is also a wheelchair ramp that goes down into the sand!
Lots of parking and lots of beach. The sand is pretty good too.
One of the most popular beaches on the cape, great for swimming or walking. There are better beaches for beach combing.
Clean and nice. Wide sandy beach with a good parking lot. Water was a bit rough because of the wind but the breeze was nice on a hot day. We were there at dusk on Sunday so the beach was not crowded
Great way to spend a nice hot summer day!
Lots of parking, restrooms/showers and places to get some food! $20 a day to park but gets you into 4 other beaches if you want to beach hop. Nice sand, not too many rocks, some seaweed in the shallow parts, nicer as you go further out. Overall a great beach to visit for the day ☺
As a local, it is the the most common beach I go to, as it is popular as a tourist beach. However, it is always fun to go! The Barnacle is a great place to hang out with friends and get lunch. Great location, close to both Main Street and downtown Centerville. Also, a sunset cruise down Craigville Beach Road with the windows down is great.
