Iām with JL on this one. Overall great job keep up the good work. May the odds be in your favor
Very clean and comfortable. We had a suite and it was nice to have the separation and 2 TV's so my husband and I could watch something different if we chose to. Just like home..lol... The young woman who checked us in was very nice and went to the trouble of looking up and finding us a nice restaurant close by. The complimentary cookies and coffee/tea were nice. The young woman who checked us out in the morning was also very nice and again offered us a complimentary breakfast bag with water, muffin and an apple to take with us. This was after a very large selection of the continental breakfast we had. Nice to have a snack on our long drive. We also were greeted and spoken to by any person who worked there. Very friendly people. We already have this place marked in our phones as the place we will stay when we come back to Tuscaloosa next year. Thank you for having a wonderful and friendly staff, from the ladies at the desk, the housekeeping and even the maintenance man that went out of his way to stop and greet us. This was the true meaning of customer service. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
Me and my wife checked in really late. Didn't have any reservations. Was last minute. The staff was very friendly and even assisted me with finding an ABC establishment that was still selling spirits for the night. The breakfast is good and the overall place is well kept and clean. Highly recommend this place to others.
Great rooms, great prices and friendly staff. Great place to stop for a any road trip!
My husband found this online as a halfway point on a road trip. It was a wonderful overnight stay. The room had 2 Queen beds, a fridge, tv and free WiFi. It was quiet and just what we needed. The free breakfast offered cereal, hard-boiled eggs, biscuits and honey (my fave!), waffle making station, toaster, individually packed blueberry muffins, a juice bar and a separate station for coffee/tea/hot cocoa. Independently owned. We typically stay in Hampton Inns and this was exactly like that. Only thing we couldn't do was swim, the outdoor pool was covered. But it's only March. Definitely recommend this hotel! Picture is view from our room.
The humidity in the room was really annoying. The PTAC unit had a dehumidifier option but it just wouldn't cut it.
Other than that, decent enough. The address in Google maps will not get you to the entrance
If I could give 0 stars I would. Recently stayed at this hotel out of no choice to go because we were evacuated from Hurricane Irma from Tampa, FL. We drove 15 hours to get here / the only hotel available. We were told to evacuate with our pets because there would be a storm surge of up to 9 feet. We took my 15 year old 5lb dog with my 2 month old new born baby and headed here. We had to make a choice of either taking my dog in or keeping her in the car to basically over heat and die. So we took her of course and had her own little bed on the floor and we constantly took her out to the bathroom / about 4 times a day with bags to pick up after her. She did not make a peep. It was as if she was not even there. Each day the cleaning staff came in to clean we left a $10 tip because my newborn had countless diapers to be used and pads all over - there was only two tiny little trash bins (we put her on a pad just in case she has an accident) . So we left after 2 nights and head home after the hurricane passed. About a week later we saw a charge for $172 extra after already having to spend over a $1000 on hotel and travel fees from this storm. We called to find out what this is from and they said it was from the pad on the floor. I told the lady the pad is from my newborn daughter. Than she came up with the response "there was pee on the carpet that went threw the pad"... I told her that is impossible because I never changed her on the floor.. it was always on the bed with a pad under her. Than she proceeded with saying it went threw the pad onto the floor. I again said that is impossible because I did not leave pads on the floor nor did I change my daughter on the floor (I made sure they were all in the trash or on the counters) She repeated her self but now said they had to hire a cleaning service to wash the carpets. I told her this is not true, it cannot be. I also explained to her that my dog is not pad trained she only goes out side and that we took her outside 6 times a day and picked up after her. She said they had to clean up because the pee went threw the pad and all over the carpet under the pad. This is a flat out lie. They are just trying to steal our money.. take advantage. My dog for one does not use pads, these are my daughters pads.. and two these pads do not leak unless there is a ginormous amount of liquid on them... my daughter would have had to pee on this pad about 5 times for it to leak. I only use the pads once. I also made sure I put all the pads and diapers on the counter or trash can. So they are lying when they say there was a pad on the floor with pee. They are just trying to come up with an excuse to keep our money after we are devastated from this storm. I also called three times for the manaer / never got a call back. I also sent an email.. no response. Would be nice if there was some humanity left in this world. Everyones out to get you. No breaks. I would not recommend going to a hotel that lies to take advantage of people during hard times.
Zero complaints. Comfy bed, clean facilities, very friendly staff. I would definitely stay here again and I would recommend the hotel to anyone I know.
Clean room that was mostly comfortable. It took a while for the a.c. to cool it off is all. The fitness center was ok, everything worked as it should. Just a few places to eat within walking distance, fast food mostly. Breakfast was ok as well.
I was 5 mins away from checking in. I called to make sure there was room available and I wanted to see what the rate was. The front desk person sounded like she just woke up. She quoted a rate but when I asked if my discount was applied what the rate would be. She fumbled around for a minute and then gave up. She said that she's going to transfer me to reservation so they could give me the rate. I was transferred over and it took over 10 mins to get through. It was after midnight so wasn't sure why it took so long, it wasn't that busy. The rep answered and told me that they can't make any reservations right now because their computers are down and asked me to hang up and call the front desk again. I hung up alright but I didn't call the hotel. I don't plan on staying at this hotel when the hotel personnel can't be bothered to help me, just a waste of my time.
What a nice hotel! Very cozy atmosphere as soon as you walk in and greeted by friendly staff. Overall, nice place to stay!
Staff was friendly and helpful. Decent breakfast and the room was nice. Bathroom had a particular odor but it wasn't too bad for me to change the room.
Clean rooms but you have to walk through a constant cloud of cigarette smoke to get inside. The room itself is non smoking but having to walk though the smoke every time you enter or leave makes it difficult for those of us with allergies and small children who we don't want exposed to all the second hand smoke.
Very friendly and helpful staff. They were busy at times but still got things done in a friendly and timely manner. Very impressive
