The Country Inn and Suites was great. The room was clean and seemed like it was recently updated. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was included and had the typical free mid-range hotel food: scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes, oatmeal waffles, bagels, mixed fruit, etc. The location is good. It cost us on average $7 for rides (Uber) to the surrounding breweries and restaurants and downtown. It is in a pretty central location. It also seemed to be a good amount more affordable than the surrounding hotels. The best part is that we told them it was our anniversary and they put some small snacks and a nice note in our room.

My wife and I stayed here this weekend (Nov 11-12) for our anniversary. We were both very pleased with our room it was very clean. And the swan on the bed was really neat. We went in the pool sat night and it was really cold. The spa tub was really hot but we got used to it. Sunday morning the breakfast area was really clean and the staff was top notch they kept everything really clean and the food was hot and they kept everything full. The front desk agent (Shannon) that booked my room on wensday was very helpful and courteous we will definitely stay here again

We stayed here as part of our mini honey moon which included several stops around the Michigan coast. We were here for two nights.

The hotel staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. Since they knew we were in a honey moon, they even set out some cute decorations and petals on the bed for us, with a cherry wine bottle.

Other than the staff, the facilities were really clean, and the location was easily accessible to the downtown traverse city.

Great place to stay. Room and hotel areas were extremely clean and well lit. Loved the pool and hot tub, plus adults only after 10:00 pm. Yes! Breakfast food was good and hot. Staff were friendly. Highly recommend this location.

Wonderful hotel! My wife and I came here for our anniversary and we had a great time. The hotel staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful. Our room was very clean. The hotel is in a great location right on coast across the street from the waterfront and just a short distance away from all of the downtown action. Next time I'm in the area I'll definitely be looking to stay here again and would recommend it to everyone.

We stayed at Country Inn at Traverse City for one night on our way to Macinac Island. Upon arrival the room was very clean and spacious. The hotel was very quiet and comfortable and the staff and service was impeccable. The location was great. We has everything we needed and the staff was very helpful in directing us where to go. If we needed to stay in the area again we would definitely stay at this hotel!

Great place to stay. Friendly staff, nice rooms, and complementary coffee, tea and cookies all day long. The pool was a great size and the hot tub was a lot bigger than most hot tubs. What really made swimming more enjoyable was the changing lights in the pool that would transition the water between green blue and red. Only thing that could have been better is if there was a second sink and mirror outside of the bathroom so that people can wash their hands and do their hair while someone else showers. Overall a very nice place to stay.

Very nice hotel older but very clean. We had a two room suite the layout is poorly done. The second room is huge while the bathroom is very small. Other than that a very nice room. Nice bed. Pillows were ok I'm glad that I bought my own from home.

We stayed at a suite they had with a living room and double Queen beds. Very nice room. A little dated but plenty of room for us and our two dogs. Staff was very friendly!

My husband and I have been staying here for about 10 years. They know us by name now and we wouldn't stay anywhere else! Amazing breakfast, wonderful staff, nice rooms! Everything you need! Like home away from home!

Our first time for our family. Loved all aspects of the Country Inn. The whole facility was immaculately clean and had a great atmosphere. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Loved the breakfast which had waffles, eggs, sausage, red skin potatoes, toast and so so much more. Our kids enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi. And to top it all off they have washer and dryer to meet our family's need. Will definitely be back and I would recommend it to our family and friends.
