Hit and miss. I liked the salad bar. Others were not so thrilled with their food. Overall what i expected in a country cafe!

Food was good. Everyone was friendly. It was clean as far as I can see. There were a few flies there last time we were in but that's kinda to be expected in summer. Other that everything was great. :)

There's absolutely no reason why anyone could rate this place lower than a five. This restaurant offers superb home cooking. The service was so friendly I actually felt like a regular here. My family were here for the Memorial Day weekend and stopped by on our way out of here. The portions were substantial and the desert was good too. We had the French Dip. It has good amount of meat and the hoagie was perfectly buttered and grilled and the Aus jus is on point. We also had the Chicken Fried Beef (the batter!!!!! 🤤) with brown gravy on the side and I asked for my fries to come with their chili and cheese. Now I'm not sure if they make their own chili but it's definitely worth a try! All their fried items are PERFECTLY fried. They got that art DOWN (yes, frying is an art). I highly recommend you try their sweet tea. I haven't been anywhere in MO where they know what they're doing until I came here. Perfectly sweet and the tea is strong. Just how I like it. Bravo chefs and servers of this restaurant! You clearly know how to run a business.
