How many people do you know that would stop on their way out the door to lunch, greet you, ask if you need help, and postpone their lunch just to help you? Well, I know one and her name is Brittany!!! Talk about fantastic customer service!!! Not only did she do this, but she continually answers all my questions and looks out for my best interest. Thank you so much for all you do!!!! You are amazing!
I am giving 5 Stars for the great Maintenance service received from Crescensio today. He is professional, courteous and efficient. Thank you for fixing my Dishwasher and for giving me Hot Water back!! Keep up the good work.
Love this place. Great people and great service. Some of these other reviews do not make any sense. It almost seems like they thought their terms were better than the fortune 500 company. Special thanks to Danielle -- she was a gem! The name escapes me but the gentleman with the beard was also excellent.
I didn't expect much help from maintainence staff but was wonderfully surprised at how prompt and friendly their technician Eddie was. He called me twice to follow up and really made me feel I was being acknowledged. If u have trust issues with random people in your house fixing things then ask for Eddie. He is the guy to put u at ease.
For the location, the amenities, and the size of the apartment, it’s a great deal. I haven’t had much time to meet people or put the amenities to use yet, but I did get a check up call from the leasing office to make sure everything was going well. I had let them know a few minor things hadn’t been taken care of. Next thing I know, I’m getting a call from Luis in Maintanence who wanted to make sure he understood the issues and to clarify what was going on. He then went out of his way to do more than he had to to make sure the job got done to my standards. If anyone needs something taken care of in your apartment here, make sure you contact Luis, he’s friendly and he gets the job done quickly and efficiently.
The worst staff I have ever encountered. They are all happy when you are trying to rent an apartment, but once you live there they don't help you or anything. the building I live in constantly have the police being called. I can not wait to move. The worst place to live, don't waste your time. I would honestly give the 0 stars if I could. they also over charge you for EVERYTHING and there are so many druggies strung out all over the place.
UPDATE:
I would give them one star if I could. My husband and I just turned in our keys last week. And my best friend and her boyfriend just turned theirs in today. The people at the office are just useless and rude. There very snotty and don't even know what they are doing. We stayed in The N building on the north side. And right before we decided to move out there were some druggies on the bottom floor (we were on the top) and one of the men there decided to beat his girlfriend almost unconscious. We say everything and my husband had ran down stairs because the poor woman was scream help, at the top of her lungs. All the surrounding building had people come to help her and the drugged out man was yelling at everyone. The police eventually got there and started to chase the man all around the complex. One officer even stated that they get called to the complex all the time. Also we say another gentleman at the pool selling a young boy who looked at least 15 drugs. I also had went to use the bathroom By the pool that's located by the main building, and I walked into the restroom and there was a couple fully naked on the toilet have sex. This place is a complete mess. I don't recommend It at all.
I have lived here for over a year and it isn't as bad as pretty are making it seem. People that live here can be dirty and careless but the office has always been super responsive whenever it is I can get a hold of someone. Calling the office is a nightmare but whenever I email Crystal or Courtney they respond within minutes regardless of what time it is. The office has gotten alot better also. The new people are WAY more welcoming then the last. Last year a girl name Abriel pretty much yelled at me at my move in because I didn't know where to park! These new people are so nice and very helpful. I am glad I renewed and live here. ** there are 4 starbucks within a mile, like 5 grocery stores, great places to eat.. best place to live for convenience!
Stabbings, druggies, theft, the WORST STAFF, towing fraud..That is just the beginning RUN to RENT ANYWHERE ELSE! BELIEVE THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS BECAUSE THEY ARE TRUE. Just ask the Newport Beach Police, Orange County Sheriff, or Newport Beach Fire Dept. They will absolutely agree.
Lived here for 3 years, and I don't even know where to begin. I guess drugs I've had a total of 2 neighbors deal drugs in the complex (one of which was arrested). Every single service request takes multiple requests before someone is sent to help (they will mark requests complete without anyone ever coming by). The office is horrible to do business with; they seem so perfect during move in but once you're in - you are treated like the dog poop that plagues the complex. There's no flexibility in requests, they never answer the phone during office hours and everyone that works here has an all around "unpleasant helpfulness" about them. Last year was nonstop "shoddy" construction followed by a hefty increase in rent on my new lease because of the "new amenities" that were installed. Like new windows that were installed with 3 different colors of chalk and damaged my apartment while installing. The additions that were made to the locks of the front doors which left a gap in the door way and the flooring of my apartment as well as leaving me locked out of my apartment after a 10 hr work day for over an hour. The ugly thorny plants that are impossible to enjoy because the excessive dog poop littered around them I assume from owners reluctant to prick themselves - well thought out UDR And so many other BS projects they've started like the whole conversion to fob access. The nice pool that everyone is raving about ISN'T EVEN HEATED DURING THE WINTER MONTHS! Neighbors are far too busy or pretentious to socialize with other tenants generally or maybe just both. Oh and forget about how impossible it is to have any guests over; for all 1000 units at this trap complex there's a grand total of 25 visitor parking spaces available. In order to use one of these spaces you'll need to create an account and print a pass online in order to walk it down to the car and display it PROPERLY (praying it doesn't get towed first for incompetence) and BE GONE BEFORE 7AM! Honestly you're just better off parking at the bars across the street Good luck everybody else! My lease is over in a couple months and I cant wait to move, never have I done business with a company so out of touch with the needs of its tenants as UDR.
Living here since almost a year, the place has TERRIBLE maintenance and security. I reported an unauthorized car parked in the parking lot for 3 DAYS IN A ROW and no one towed it. No one knows who the car belongs to - not a resident or a guest, just a stray car in the lot. They could harm someone/steal from someone even KILL someone - how would you know? There are KIDS PLAYING everywhere, what if your kid was snatched by someone driving this car (no one knows whose it is and management doesn't care to find out) - so whose responsibility is it if YOUR KID IS KIDNAPPED?? Even after reporting it MULTIPLE times to PEOPLE at the main office and security, the car IS STILL HERE. So why are residents paying for parking if anyone can pull in and park?? The parking lot does NOT have enough cameras to pull up footage either. So here's the deal - if you're OK with NO SECURITY and ANYONE having access to your front door at any time of the day, and if you're ok PAYING for parking which anyone can get FOR FREE, and if you're OK living with the possibility of GETTING KIDNAPPED - sure, pick to live here.
I just want point one maintenance guy out named Aaron on Coronado maintenance team. He is always on his stuff, and a very hardworking man. He is sweet and gets the job done! Thank you Aaron for working around my schedule and resolving my problem😊
I regret the day ever moving in. This is the most ill-managed, toxic (black mold everywhere), water is shut off weekly, ceilings are leaking and soft to the touch and the staff couldn't give two f**** about the residents. This place is going to be shut down as a health hazard or going to crumble.
This apartment complex doesn't even deserve 1 star. I only had to give them one star because it doesn't let you post without a rating. I don't even know where to begin. This is the most disgusting apartment building I've ever lived in. They make it look nice on the website and they show you a model apartment that is gorgeous but don't be fooled. they're fixing it up to look nice but again don't be fooled. I lived here for 9 months and my apartment as well as the entire outside when you walked around was INFESTED with cockroaches. They complex is known to house drug addicts and drug dealers. I had to call the cops twice on my neighbors and one time the police had to rush the apartment down the hall from me armed with their guns out. The apartment is overly priced and they fix nothing. When you call maintenance to come fix things they send you an email saying they come and they don't come. They make it extremely hard for you to have visitors because the guest pass ends at 7am the next morning and they immediately tow your car. You will not find parking around the building at all if it's past 6pm so don't even try. When I was moving in they towed my brothers car after 15 minutes of parking In a spot he was allowed to park in and he had his belonging on The hood of his car. The people that work in the main lobby are extremely rude and think they can talk however they want to you. They do not care about their tenants. All this complex is doing is looking to rob people and make as much money as possible. DO NOT MOVE IN.
The property is pretty nice but the staff is just BAD. No effort. Poor customer service. I had to call a few times to get an appointment. When I arrived the guy who showed me around the property reeked of booze. He didn't seem to know much even though he'd been working there over a year. After my tour, he emailed me a proposal and I didn't heard from him again. I called following up and couldn't reach anyone to answer my questions about lease options. I asked if a manager or someone in charge could return my call. I still haven't heard from anyone. 5 days later, I just called again. This time I called the number on their website only to learn my call was routed to a remote location. The person on the phone waited 10 minutes just to tell me I need to call another number to speak to someone on location.
I swear, the people who work here are on a mission to do no work at all. I wish I could post negative stars with this review. Just to post this review I had to click on one star but in my opinion, they didn't even earn that.
Promised me a $350 visa gift card if I signed the lease. It's been 9 months and still no gift card. Every time I ask the front office they pretend to be shocked and say something along the lines of I will check on that for you it should be here shortlyThey have not sent the card to this day! I don't understand how so many employees have the same answer. It feels like an ORGANIZED LIE.
I have only been here 9 months, I have been in 2 car accidents in the parking lot by other drivers, one of them tried to flea the scene. I actually pay an extra $75 just to have this parking space and 3 times out of 10 when I get home someone random has parked in my space illegally. It's my job to then call the tow truck and wait for someone to show up. The front office will not aid you in this process, they will simply give you a number to call.
I am so glad my lease is done and I get to leave Coronado at Newport Apartment Homes. I will tell my friends to stay away.
