Great place for an event.

There are many sporting venues in colorado, this is one of the worse ones.
CU is a beautiful campus, but this event center is in pretty dire need of a revamp/reconstruction. The place reeks with age, and filth, above that of another sporting venue.
pros- A lot of the events hosted here are real gems.
Parking is pretty copious
The surrounding area has lots of great eats so you can avoid stadium food.
Cons- the place is always filthy, like beyond any reason.
The staff seems like an endangered species.
Overall my expectations were pretty low, so it's not like i'm disappointed. But with the superior 1stbank center in Broomfield, or Budweiser Center in Fort Collins, being so similar in size and locale, it seems like this place simply ought to be better.response / report this review -

Great place to watch sports. Getting in and out of games is tough. Bit on the older side but with recent renovations is been getting better.

I love the upgrades that are a part of the Practice facility. Check out the beer garden, before the game and during halftime.
