The atmosphere is somewhat upscale, but still casual and relaxed. The service is pleasant and friendly, but otherwise unexceptional. The menu isn't incredibly diverse, but he food quality is the start here. Everything I have tried has been great and the portions are sizeable. Oh,and the prices are quite reasonable as well. Highly recommended

This is a go to for special occasions for us. The gnocchi with butternut squash is my all time favorite. My husband and I also love to share (aka fight over) the delicious chocolate cake. I enjoy trying the different types of wine before making my choice for a full glass. This time they even comped us dessert wine for our anniversary!! Love this place!

great wines, although they were out of nearly half of what we requested that evening.
I'd recommend sitting in the bar area as they are terrible at estimating wait times (15 minutes became over 90 before we gave up and sat at the bar). friendly service, good appetizers.response / report this review -

We had a great meal for lunch. Six of us having salad, burgers. And entrees. All geat. We had deserts as well and they were awesome. All for a fair price and great service.

Wonderful first time experience yesterday in the bar. Steve is a superb server and his recommendations for drinks and dessert were outstanding. I will definitely return soon. Very enjoyable!

One of my favorite places for lunch or brunch I loved your Bloody Marys. Today we had an excellent waitress took care of us very well. Always enjoy stopping in at Coopers Hawk when in Indianapolis

Just had a stellar meal at this amazing establishment. Deb took care of our every need and we can't wait to return. We were just passing thru from Alabama but this place is not to be missed. Thank you for your phenomenal food and impeccable service!!

I brought my boyfriend here for the first time because we were celebrating a new job. I put my name in and was told it would be a 40 minute wait. I honestly lost track of time and thought I would just go and check to see how much longer until we were seated and they couldn't find my name. Another customer vouched for me and they apologized and seated us right away. I was a little disappointed but I figure hey the person might be new or the system might have acted up. But that was the ONLY reason it's not 5 stars. Because the experience wasn't 100% perfect. The food was amazing. My boyfriend even commented on the water. (The water?!) He literally stopped and asked the waitress if there was anything that was not good. If this food was human I think he would have dumped me and married it. It really was so good. So good food, good wine and really well priced! Definitely worth it!

We love their wines and going there for the wine tasting. We are monthly wine club members which definitely pays for itself. Today we ate in for the first time. Food was excellent and the personnel are very friendly and professional. The Calamari appetizer is awesome! We will be back!

I ADORE this place. The staff is very friendly, professional, and accommodating no matter your level of wine-o or foodie. I've never had a dish here that I didn't thoroughly enjoy and then recommend to friends. Their wine club is a FANTASTIC deal (I would get it just for the tastings, let alone all the other benefits and discounts!) and their bartenders(winetenders?) are all very knowledgeable and fun. Cooper's has become a staple in my life, and it should be in yours too!!!

Very nice atmosphere, people are very nice . Placed order in advance and ended up waiting way to long sat for about 35 min , they did offer me water but no discount. they offerd a sweet treat for free However i am a diabetic and could not accept it although I wish I could . Thanks hawk we love u guys .

It was so amazing! One of the best places I have ever ate before. Plus the Sparkling Sweet Red Wine was perfect! The waitress was so great as well. I definitely would go back! So happy my finance found this place! 😍

I love the Cesar pesto salad here. I get it almost every time I visit Cooper's Hawk. I had the white wine fight which was fine. Even though I don't normally like sweet wines I prefer the dessert wine flight. I also really enjoy their almond sparkling.

We visited Cooper's Hawk after seeing good reviews. And it is as good as advertised. I had the Grilled Prime Sirloin and it was succulent and very well seasoned. It was the best sirloin I had had in a long time. However, as good as the food is, the main focus is on their wine. You get two complimentary tastings but I highly suggest you get a Flight of wine. You can have a Flight in addition to your complimentary tastings which is a great way to sample their offerings. The service was also quite good. The server was very knowledgeable about the different wines and his recommendations were very good. It is very much worth the 45 minute drive and we cannot wait to go back.
