Great brisket and sides. Easily the best baked beans at any BBQ joint in Atlanta. The sides change often and are fresh and creative and not overcooked like at most BBQ joints. There can be a line, so come to lunch a bit ahead of time. At dinner, once they're out of something there is usually not any more of it until the next day.
My favorite bbq place. Brisket is always amazing!! Love their mac & cheese. I actually purchased a half pan of mac for thanksgiving which was a hit!! They stay pretty busy, which is a great sign! No matter how busy they get the food never disappoints!
Another plus is that I've never run into a rude employee! The staff is just as great as the food!
I catered my friend's baby shower with Community Q BBQ and was very pleased with the whole experience. Great communication, easy to place the order and to pick up the food. The food was packaged with care, was easy to transport, and everything that needed to be hot, was upon arrival. The food was delicious and everyone was pleased with it. They also have great catering prices. I'm very happy with my experience with them and highly recommend Community Q BBQ.
Absolutely love this place. Some of the best BBQ you can get in Atlanta without having to wait in line for over an hour. The sliced brisket and Mac and cheese are my favorites. Sauces aren't too fancy, but they have something for everyone. Be sure to come early since they do run out of meat. It's rare, but it happens.
I had the rib plate, pulled pork, and macaroni (1 side). The ribs were cooked perfectly with very tangy seasoning and was a little too salty for me. However, they were fall off the bone ribs for sure. The pulled pork was pretty good you could see the smoke ring in the pork. Instead of buttered toasted sandwich bread, I would prefer a bun but didn’t ask for one so that’s my fault. The cheese macaroni was GREAT!!!!! I will visit again.
My husband and I have always been huge fans of Community Q and we're so glad we asked them to cater our wedding reception! They were super responsive and the prices were very reasonable. They came on time and did a fantastic job with the full-service event that we asked for. They were super friendly and happy and overall a delight work with. Not to mention, I asked if they could pack up the leftovers for our guests, and they were willing to do it (to my surprise)! Thank you so much for making the day more special and delicious!!! :)
This place is ALWAYS crowded. They move the line pretty quick but good luck finding a table during peak hours.sometimes people just aren't courteous / know to vacate a table when they're done eating if others are waiting. I went in there for the first time in a while and was surprised that there were only two people ahead of me in line, but by the time I ordered the line was almost back to the door - that's the norm. The meats are delicious!! I like both of their sauces - and I normally don't like vinegar type sauces. The only side I ever get is mac-n-cheese and it is yummy! Their prices are reasonable and the service is always friendly and helpful.
Heard about this BBQ spot wanted to see if the food was really good or not. Found out very quickly the food is good. I had the Brisket sandwich and it was great!!! Also had some Brunswick stew it was just OK, but the Mac & Cheese is top of the line!!! We will go here again . My only wish is that there could be more seating.
Absolutely EXCELLENT!!!!!!!!!!! I love everything about this place. The food is outstanding. Mac and cheese and pork is out of this world.
They have a small menu, but everything on it is spectacular. The service is wonderful and kind. The restaurant is kept clean and tidy. Homemade tea, fresh squeezed lemon juice on the side is the perfect beverage to wash it down.
Last time I was here, the line was literally out the door. It moved fast though and was totally worth it!
Absolutely loved this place! I came with a huge group of people (12+) and everyone ate so quickly! It was an awesome experience! The staff were VERY welcoming and they were very willing to answer questions about the menu! Seriously not even the best part, the food out did the excellent service and gave us Superb food!!! The chicken, BBQ, ribs, and the Brisket were out of this world! The collards & mac&cheese tasted like they had my grandma trapped in the kitchen cooking! If you don't go now, you MUST go later! 5 stars well earned! (Huge thanks to Mr.Maze who was awesome at explaining the menu!)
Was not worth the price. My ribs were burnt and the staff was not all friendly. First and last time I eat here..
We're new to Community BBQ but our first trip was great. The sides are very good, even the sweet potatoes and kale. My BBQ chicken sandwich was great and included a ton of chicken. I added cole slaw to my sandwich but didn't like the taste of it.
Community Q is our go to place for BBQ in Atlanta. I believe they have some of the best flavors in their meats without needing any extra sauces. They make sure the smoke flavor really does the job on the meat. All the meat is always very moist. And the service is very fast. If it is a busy night for them, they will sometimes run out of certain meats ( because it is that good) so you might want to call ahead to make sure they have everything you want. But if they don't, there is something else you will love
This place is great! We've been looking for a new barbecue place for a while and I think we've found it. The food is fantastic and the service was fast and friendly. They even helped me order and figure out what I should pick up for a friend. I definitely recommend giving this place a try.
BEST FREAKING BBQ in town, or at least that I have had. And BBQ is my favorite food after pizza. BBQ is always fresh and easy to pull off the bone. MAC N CHEESE is out of this world. I drive all the way from Woodstock just to have their mac. But the line is always way too long and they rarely pick up their phone when they get busy on the weekends.
