Had such a good night here. Went here for my bfs mom's bday. There was amazing cheese and crackers and bread before dinner and white chocolate after dinner. They had a lot of choices for drinks and food. I had the stuffed chicken and it was very good. And we shared yummy desserts.

My Wife, Daughter, and I went to try the brunch buffet for the first time today.
(September 27, 2017) a few items where pleasant, but sadly I am do not go to a buffet to try a few items. Most of the "hot" dishes where more like they where served straight from a fridge. Edges of the pancakes where crispy. The crust of the French toast was inedible, like chewing on a dried out sponge. My wife grabbed some apple jelly for her toast. The bread for the toast was excellent indeed, but as for the jelly? That was thicker than most glue. I also ordered a Bloody Mary. I was only able to consume half. Of all the Bloody Mary's I have had, this was by far the worst.

Wine Down Wednesday is always a good time! Foods good. I had the chicken and sausage pasta, and would definitely order it again! Christopher, a server in the upstairs bar area, is awesome!

We often come on wine down Wednesday where all bottles are half price. We paid it with a Caesar salad and a plate of mussels, split everything and have a wonderful light dinner very reasonably priced. We have worked our way thru almost all the wines

Homey and warm environment. The food is fantastic and gives you a taste of New England home cooking. The live music is enjoyable giving you a sense of relaxation and togetherness not only with your party but the entire establishment. A great go to for dinner for two or the entire family at a reasonable and worthwhile price.

Haven't been here since I moved out of state about 9 years ago. Now that I'm back in the area, went back to see how it was. Service was fantastic. I like that the upstairs bar area now has its own kitchen, the food ordered came out lightening fast. The drinks are expertly crafted and a solid mix of locally handcrafted spirits and tried and true mass-produced offerings. I had a wild Maine blueberry vodka and lemonade concoction that is my current favorite drink. My husband had a moscow mule with a twist of spiced rum, which he liked. We ordered the apple stuffed chicken and crab cake topped haddock for our meals. They came with two sides. Both very tasty, well seasoned, and plated nicely. Overall, the price we paid for our meals was a great value. Looking forward to returning soon!

Unlike anywhere else. Rustic feel with white linen fare. It's hard to find a down to earth eatery paired with a well conceived menu. The common man restaurant is uncommonly good.
