I took one class here and it might be the biggest mistake I have made when it comes to any higher education. I'm no going to draw this out and give a long story because the problem is very straight forward. When I started taking my class here I did so because the transfer counselor that I worked with told me I would be able to qualify for their accelerated nursing program. When I was already taking my first class and enrolled, my academic advisor told me that I wouldn't be able to begin the program within the allotted time. Fine. In short, the person who got me enrolled and starting classes made no effort to see if I would ACTUALLY be able to start the program within the allotted time. That was the first problem I encountered the next problem was, after I had payed for the class and the semester had ended, I started to get calls and emails from CCU saying that I owed them for the previous semester. After this I contacted the school and asked them to clarify this.. since then I haven't even heard back from them. I have been getting phone calls from an automated line connected to CCU that is asking me to pay, when I have a paper trail that shows the funds were covered by financial aid. I still haven't heard back from them and do not know the status of this problem.

I absolutely loved going to school here. I have made so many life long friendships and even met my husband here! Not only that, but I am friends with the professors here and still keep in touch with them. They have a fantastic missions department where students can lead trips across the world to share the Gospel. The campus looks nothing like what it did when I first started going there but it’s exciting to go back and see all the changes and upgrades they have.
Ccu has a fantastic location right between the city of Denver and the mountains. There is always something exciting to do! I would definitely recommend it to anyone!response / report this review -

This school is by far one of the best colleges in academics, integrating the Christian faith, and community! Yes, monetarily it was a sacrifice to send our kids here, but the education and experience is priceless. I felt so confident and grateful when leaving my young adults to be educated and taken care of at Colorado Christian University and it hasn’t disappointed!

When I first graduated from this establishment, five years ago, I only looked at the positive. I would say that after these five years, I cannot say that I would recommend this school for anyone who has disabilities. While the upside is that the professors care and will do anything to get you to succeed the attitude of the rest of the staff was not as heartening. I had to pay thousands of dollars for the disabilities services I did receive, while at other schools those same services are provided free of charge. Luckily I had gone to a community college before coming to CCU, which allowed me to learn how to access services in the community that would help someone, so that I knew where to turn for help when CCU was unable to provide assistance. In addition, there was truly no understanding of disabilities, I never had someone who would stand up for me or help show me the ropes. I was kicked out of the dorms more than once because they wanted to segregate those with disabilities off campus. I was accepted into the honors society, but never received emails so that they could chose not to award me at the end of the time. I wish with all my heart I could go back to my college years and never have even thought of coming to CCU, and chosen a state school, so that I would not have been discriminated against or segregated.

Colorado Christian University seems like a very nice place. I applied and was accepted to the college in 2017. Everything was going well until I was told that the program I was going for had no online or night time options. This would not have bothered me, except I work and I help support a family. My work schedule can't really be moved and I'm required to maintain a certain amount of flexibility for it.
They require all undergraduate students to attend chapel and build a certain number of credits for graduation. I would be glad to do this, except that chapel falls on days that I need to work. Since the school is in Lakewood and I work in Longmont, this presented a difficulty. I spoke with someone and said I might need to forgo attending for now until I get some things squared away first. The person I spoke with said that they would look into potential options for me, which I was very grateful for. As of the time of this review, that was almost three weeks ago and I never heard back. Before this, I had always received answers in a few days.
I'm very disappointed. I had high hopes for this school. I'm sure it's a very nice place, but if you are a working adult, decide carefully where you want to go.
Everyone I spoke to was very nice, but I feel like administration is somewhat disorganized. Still I would give them a chance.
One thing that did get under my skin was that I got advertisements from them constantly, though I know there is an option to opt out.
I have decided to look at options for other schools that better fit my needs for now. Perhaps someday in the future I will give CCU another try, especially if the program I was interested in had online and evening options introduced to it.
Edit: I forgot to mention that the degree that I wanted to go for was Worship Arts, which is only in the undergraduate program. If this had been offered under the College of Adult and Graduate Studies, I would have gladly considered it.
At the time of this edit, I still have not heard back from any college officials. I have noted that this seems to be a consistent pattern at this college, which is rather disappointing. I do not feel valued and have decided to take my business elsewhere.

Just got started with my enrollment process with Shelley and she has been very helpful from military benefits questions to how my degree will help with my job. If you're trying to go through the adult online program I would highly recommend talking with Shelly.

Sky high tuition and cold disorganized staff! This school is no different then any other secular online program all that matters is the all mighty dollar! I will be sure to tell every one I know in Colorado to steer clear of this school!

Do not sign up for information from this college. I have unsubscribed from them several times to no avail. I've tried marking as junk, spam and nothing works. You'll be sorry if you sign up for information. This is beyond customer servicethis is stalking.

I never attended Colorado Christian University - I graduated from BYU. That being said (please, no boo and hiss - they're both great schools!), I love getting their e-mails and petitions to fight for Christian values as they seem to be quickly fading - and with them the bedrock of our society. I wonder if we'll soon be like Athens, Greece in ancient times worshiping an altar to the unknown god. We already are! - but not me, never me, and never BYU or CCU. Keep training good people for high places in govt.! Hooray!

I love the community at CCU, and I've never felt so welcome and so encouraged by people in any other place. The professors are phenomenal and are so willing to help their students, and there's always faculty and staff willing to help you with the other things you will need. It's in a great location, too, and there's always fun events both on and off campus.

I thought I was going to find a amazing loving community but I didn't. I was destroyed and watched so many others be tormented by students because of the way they sinned. It really did so much damage to me so I transferred to Dallas Baptist University and it was the best decision I ever made. Please remember that not everywhere is a place that Gods hands are in. You will and can find better communities with more supportive loving students.

I was interested in checking out colleges, and somewhere along the lines of filling out information for another college, this university receiving my information. They have been calling me 3 times a day, for 2 - 3 weeks. I blocked their number and still receive missed calls from this university.

I'm a busy mom, worked full time until recently and have been working towards my Bach. Psychology with a minor in Spiritual Leadership. I've enjoyed every moment of my degree. The counselors have been phenomenal and the student financial aid department is both nice and helpful every time I've had to contact them. This isn't a slacker school. The courses are demanding and the knowledge you obtain is real. I love the flexibility online classes offers as I have two young boys at home and a full time job to keep up with. My experience here has deepen my faith and my confidence. I'm excited to say I'm CCU alumni class of 2017.
