I bought a customized plug in pendant light from the color cord company. It was very well packaged But my only complaint it that there was no instructions for putting the light together. Yes majority of the pieces are obvious but I had a few washers I wasnt sure where they went. Luckily their chat on the website responds very quickly and after sending my order number and explained my issue she was able to send me a picture explaining how the piece was put together. Overall it was a great experience and the light is great but I would really like to have the picture of instructions included in the package so I didn't have to reach out through their website chat room.

Incredible customer service. I had plenty of questions prior to purchasing the swag fixture. Upon reception, a cord stay was dinged up; they replaced it no problem. All communication was done through the chat service on their website. Well done.

The customer service and products are really, really great. Their online chat people helped me figure out exactly what I needed. They answered all my copious questions and gave me all the details I asked for, including pics, diagrams, measurements, etc. So I could set up my lighting project exactly how I wanted it. They helped me evaluate pros and cons of various options, too.

When I finally received my product, I was absolutely pleased. I ended up getting one of the custom all in one pendant cables with a black tweed cord and satin gold fixture, as well as a brass "T" swag hook. The fabric cord really does look much classier than any plastic one, and the fixture is beautiful and very contemporary looking. The brass hook also tied it all together beautifully!

It was also easy to install. I used it to make a swag light out of a very large glass lamp shade that came with a hardwired pendant. I couldn't believe how much cooler it looked with a classy cord- even better than the original hard wired version! It was worth the money to get those finishing details.

If I had one request, I wish they would sell the all in one fixtures separately. They look a little different than the DIY fixtures, and that's why I ended up getting it, but I would have liked to try building it myself (and save a few more bucks). But, in any case, I am 100% satisfied. Their prices are better than the few other companies I found online, anyway. I highly recommend them!

Fantastic hub for most of your DIY lighting needs not just for your own home but for commercial purposes too. Phoned in multiple times for specifics about a bulk order I was making and the staff went above and beyond in consulting and working with me on my requirements to make sure I was making the right purchase.
