Have been to the coffee cup four times, each time has been excellent for a dinner type restaurant. Especially love their Cole slaw.

Food is always so greasy. You have to flag down the waitress to get something. Fast food is better (gag), and it's just as homemade.

The food is amazing here! The staff however, not quite. I've only gotten ONE waitress that has been kind to us. Otherwise I don't feel very welcome. But who cares, the food is AMAZING!

It's got the best breakfast in town, especially the biscuits and gravy. If you're from out of town, don't be surprised that they only take cash. If you don't want to pay the ATM fee, go to Walmart and buy a pack of gum and get cash back with you're debit card. We are a small town, that's how we roll. The remodeling that was done over the past year is awesome.

It’s Thursday evening around 6 and I’m off with the family for some dinner. I chose The Coffee Cup because it seemed like an out of the box choice for dinner. This place was obviously a drive in decades ago. It does make you feel nostalgic for the heydays of old cars and waitresses on roller skates, a burger and chocolate malt. But no, now it is simply a shade of khaki, lacking any character.
The interior is fine just as is to be expected as were the menu choices. I ordered the Pork Chop Special.
The pork chops were so thin they must have cut them with a deli slicer. They were as dry as a communion wafer, arid and bereft of any discernable flavor. Over- cooked sawdust. I never knew carrots were green and brown. A starving rabbit would have passed on these discs of death. Powdered mashed potatoes only NASA could be proud of. The cooks should be taken to the town center and placed in a pillory and ridiculed for their crimes against swine.

On the bright side the waitress was nice and competent. The bathroom was clean and odor free. However if breakfast is their thing then stop taking money from people who are looking for dinner. I cannot and would not recommend this joint for dinner. Lousy!response / report this review -

Full order of biscuits & gravy was my choice today, because I know it's the best in town. This was my first visit since it was remodeled, and it's really much nicer now. The staff was nice and the meal was great.
I just moved back here, and I'll be coming much more often to the Coffee Cup from now on.response / report this review -
