The outdoor seating offers tranquil setting to dazzling dishes. Coconut shrimp appetizer is so amazing that I had to order a second. Well-trained staff elevates this already wonderful dining experience.
Hit or miss. Nice atmosphere, mediocre options. Naples prices for no reason. Can be decent but be careful what you pick. Some choices, particularly drinks, overpriced for what you get. Quality does not reflect price. #keepnaplesoutofbonita
2 stars for eating on the dock with the catfish in the green lights. They were an absolute delight.
I've been there twice, recently. Sat at a table right next to the bay: herons and egrets in the mangroves nearby. Very attentive, accurate service and excellent food. They also have free valet parking, although a tip is in order. I'll go there again.
Great waterfront dining! Directly over the water if you can get a table outside, and they even provided complimentary valet parking. Watch the fish jump just yards away as you eat dinner and enjoy a cocktail. I will definitely return!
We were in town for the sand sculpting competition and since we rarely make it to the west coast I wanted treat my daughter to a nice dinner with some water front dining. Since I didn't really know the area I of course checked Yelp which revealed three options. The first place was on a canal with no outdoor seating which wasn't what I really wanted. The second place was lovely but was more fine dining than I had in mind since I was shorts and covered in sand. The third place, Coconut Jack's ended up being absolutely perfect. It was just the casual seafood water front dining place I was longing for. Even better it was located on our way out of town.
It looked very busy when we arrived and you must use their complimentary valet parking. Despite the crowd we were seated instantly with our choice of indoor or outdoor seating. I wanted outside with the water view. Wow, I could not have been more pleased with the table we were offered. It was a table for two perched at the end of the dock. We were surrounded on three sides by water. It was like eating in the middle of one of my beloved nature sanctuaries. Fish leaped out of the water behind us while catfish swam to our right close to the restaurant. At one point my favorite bird, a Great Blue Heron swooped over our heads and landed on top of their floating Christmas tree. It stayed perched there for the rest of our meal. Dining in that spot was magical for me. If nature is not your thing they have a large indoor dining area as well but for me that table made my night.
I found the view breath taking and the food was pretty good too. We had skipped lunch so we were starving by the time we arrived. The food is brought fast here. We started with drinks and an appetizer of coconut shrimp and it was at he table within 5 minutes. The coconut shrimp was divine. It consisted of a large portion of shrimp with a mango and raspberry sauce. It was so good that I wanted to lick the plate.
For dinner my daughter and I shared a beer batter grouper basket and a mango chicken sandwich. I paid the extra $2 for sweet potato fries since that is what my daughter prefers. Why the up charge though? I know it's only $2 but it's not like sweet potatoes cost more than white. I want to know why restaurants charge more for sweet potato fries. It just seems miserly of them and I appreciate establishments that don't do that. Anyway the dinner was okay, nothing special. I actually didn't care for my fries, I've had better at McDonald's. What was special was dining with my beloved daughter in the beautiful setting.
Since we were enjoying ourselves so much I splurged on desert which I don't normally order. It was between the coconut cream pie and the chocolate cake and we went with the cake. It was enough for two especially considering how rich it was. It was dense and fudge filled. I had a bite or two and my daughter enjoyed finishing it up.
Dinner was $65 for the two of us and it included two drinks, a shared appetizer, two entrees and a shared dessert. Entrees ranged in price from $15 to $35. The bill was reasonable for what we had. I rate the food a 3, the view and service a 5, so I'll give this restaurant a 4.
My wife and I spend four months in our condo in Bonita Springs and have eaten there on several occasions. The food and atmosphere is very good. Great place to bring friends for food and fellowship.
What an amazing lunch after the beach. Their mixed drinks were perfect, the appetizers were plenty to share and the recommended dishes that came out were fresh, tasted amazing and worth every penny. Very, very nice and attentive waiting staff. Cool merchandise and well kept and cleaned restaurant. We'll be going here everytime we visit.
Relaxing water view. Chris was a great server. Coconut Shrimp and Filet were both good. No surprises and no disappointments. Great place for a casual dinner. Noise level could be a problem for some though.
COCONUT JACK'S a favorite among locals & snowbirds (seasonally residents) not only for its delicious food, but it's pristine view of estuary containing fish, wading birds, manatees, etc. Casual, comfortable ambiance. EXCELLENT food selections for any palate. Vegans, vegetarians, heart conscious people & diabetics will be pleased with variety of options. COOL little retail area w/shirts, caps, toys, souvenirs for all ages.
First time eating at Coconut Jack's. Complimentary valet parking which is nice considering the tight parking lot. The food was fantastic! Cocktails were great as was the service. Excellent water views. Casual island decor. Will definitely go again when we're back in town!!
Right on the water. Good food. Lots of fresh fish. Wait staff was great. Complimentary valet parking.
When guests come to town the first place we think to take them is Coconut Jacks. The food is always excellent, atmosphere wonderful whether dining in or outside, service friendly and attentive. Love the scallop basket for lunch and the crab legs are great for dinner. Don't miss an opportunity to visit Coconut Jacks!!!
I've been here many times, and love it! It is a wonderful waterfront location and has some outdoor seating on the docks over the water. I went once with my great nephew and the staff gave him crackers to feed the fish--that was a nice touch and so fun for him and the adults watching. The coconut shrimp is excellent, but my favorite is the ceviche! Great staff and love the complimentary valet parking. I will keep going back!
Horrible service. I was with my family and I got some fish tacos but the fish was really dry and really gross. The fish salmon with the orange crust was overcooked and almost burnt. The hamburger was very wet and it was very cold . The place is also not allergy friendly, my 11-year-old child had to bring home her hamburger with no bun and we had a buy hamburger bun at the supermarket. The food was cold and we had to wait a very long time. got my child a gift but The pelican stuffed animal cost around $30 and a sweatshirt from their cost $45. This place is overrated, Overpriced and I would never spend my money on these things. I recommend that you do not come here if you are a tourist. Never coming here again .
Absolutely one of the best dining experiences I have ever had .First things first,
The complementary valet parking is a great asset. You just pull up and they do the rest. When you are ready to leave they bring your car to you .next .The service was the best. Our waiter Eric.was a pro, he explained the menu thoroughly and even knew the name of the boat the King Crab came from in Dutch Harbor Alaska ..BTW, I ordered the king crab !
All I can say is WOW !!!
It came out hot and perfectly done ..we also ordered the scallop basket and wait for it
freshly caught that day, red grouper stuffed with crab and lobster.
That was absolutely fantastic.needless to say we will be back again ..
Highly recommend !!!!!
