Decent place for a live band but the service really sucked. It was my first visit and likely my last visit. There's much better venues to get my music fix.

My favourite dive-ish bar. Food is amazing and they have an actual dining area. Great bar for watching the game and the regularly have bands on the weekend. Their website sucks and isn't updated at all.

I've been here several times and get a pretty good breakfast. The dining room is rusticly historic. I like the atmosphere.

Sat at the bar and had fish dinner with beers. The bar staff were slow to help others and the patrons were noticeably upset. The slow service didn't bother us. Fish was good but it has a spicy breading on it. The fries also had a spice on them (I think it was the same) so it was a little too much for me. Salad bar was ok.

Had the fish fry. Soup and salad bar was above average, fresh and good selection. Four different soups. Beer battered cod and hash browns were greasy and soggy. My wife had baked walleye and it wasn’t bad.

Great local place for a beer with friends or to watch live music & sporting events. Moose's staff is friendly and the fried food is just as you'd expect!

Don't waste your time at this bar unless you are a local. If it wasn't for the great band they had playing we would have left right away, SERVICE IS TERRIBLE! It took some time to get our first drink, understandable the bar was fairly busy but there was like 4-5 bartenders. Each time we got more we had to sit and wait for drinks. By the end of the night when there was 2 male bartenders and only 10 or so people in the bar it took over 5 minutes to get a drink because bartenders were talking with there buddies and ignore our empty drinks.

After the band was over we played music in the jukebox, they began skipping songs in the middle of the song for some reason.

Don't waste your time on this bar that has such poor service, unless you plan to go for only 1 drink at most, which is shame because bar was big with a nice layout.

Good service, love the stage set up. Not vegetarian or vegan friendly, or gluten sensitive. Kind of dark and dreary inside, but plenty of space and I like the outside area.

I am new to the west side for my new job, and have been checking out new spots for lunch time eats. I stopped in to have a quick drink and some food at the club tavern. Google maps directed me to this business.

Well I bellied up to the bar and sat there (yes I timed it) for 17 minutes. There was no one behind the bar. Albeit there where only 3 other customers in the place. After 5 minutes an employee finally appeared. She went to a man sitting at the end of the bar with a laptop and proceeded to what appeared to be engaging in gossip. I looked over several times but could not make eye contact as she was involved intently in her conversation. After some time, another man, entered the bar and sat down 7 bar stools away from me. She immediately went to him and took his order. So I tried making eye contact again and even raised my hand. Alas I still had to wait. And again, no response. So I got up and left.

AND NO! I am not ugly!

My advice on this place is to yell very loud to get service. Wave and maybe stand on the bar? Yeah I'm being silly now but really?

Such a shame for a place to be like this. I will do what I can to tell my friends to avoid this place unless they love waiting to even get a menu.

Good bar. Lots of character and history. Decent beer selection. There are multiple tap locations, so make sure you either look around or ask what they've got. The wings were very good, and it was Wing Wednesday so there was a significant discount. Friendly folks.

Great staff. Moose is a wonderful host. You have to have a bloodymary and Mooskies if you go for brunch. All you can eat fish fry on Friday is delicious.

Only thing I have good to say about this place is that the staff is really nice. The food was either overcooked or undercooked. Flavor was ok..but way overpriced. Especially the shrimp scampi pasta. A big disappointment! Will not go back. Food was not worth the price.
