A happy piece of my childhood and youth spent here back in the day when it was called Tazewell Cinema 3 and before that Tazewell Twin Cinema. The sad thing is that this place will shut down in less than a month. After that, moviegoers will have to either drive to Mercer Mall Carmike 8 or Claypool Hill cinema. Either way is 20-30 minutes along 19/460.

When the people that own the Theater finally retire, and it is shut down, and our kids do not have anywhere to go then the words might not be as harsh towards the theater! Maybe someone will buy it and update it to 3D after that but that is big risk for such a small reward!

A simple and inexpensive small town theater. Friendly and helpful staff. An asset to my community. I enjoy taking my family to the Climbing Tree Movie House.
