We came up from metro Detroit, got married in munising and honeymooned at the lake in the clouds and got really wet after roughing it we headed to copper harbor and it was getting late and we wanted a warm room to stay in
$100+ in copper harbor for a room. we make our way down the road and walk into an inn/bar and same deal but the bartender said hey marjie, do you have a room?
And she said yes I do!
You gotta love small towns!
The owner of the cliff view inn was down the road at another inn/bar and was so nice to offer us a room almost half of what you get anywhere else in the area, we just wanted a shower and warm bed but they had a grill we could use and a complete kitchen inside the insanely cute 2 bedroom cabin that looks up to an incredible rock face across the road
They have a bar here and food as well or you can cook and clean up just like at home, marjie and brad have been so nice and this will be our destination next year for our first anniversary, so much more to see

Wonderful new owners, as of May 2017. Great atmosphere, very friendly. Almost like family.
Highly recommend stopping in for a cold one.

I have been going to the Cliff View Bar for over 20 years and by far the new owners have really cleaned up the place.

Would recommend to anyone in the area stopping in and seeing the changes!

This has been a place we had been going to for years on our trips to Mohawk MI and in the past have always enjoyed the place.

The first time we had gone this year we considered it possibly a bad day as we could hardly get a refill with the bartender sitting behind the bar not doing much. We decided to take off after two rounds don't need to beg for service.

The last time that we went - i was astonished by the lack of service, how absolutely rude the folks working were (I would only guess that they are the owners) when i had asked if we had done something to offend them he told us to "get the hell out of his bar". This from a guy who we had not spoken to all night (he seemed drunk).

Plenty of other places to go - will NEVER BE BACK!

The local folks from the area are nice however ..

New owners are an atrocity to the concept of customer service. Stopped in to have a few drinks and the owners of the place could not of been more rude. We had to beg for refills and after putting $5 in the jukebox was told by the owner that it was his bar and he turned it off. Seriously? What a shame of a bar.
