  This is for the clinic, I've never been to the health department side. The people are nice but they are never there. Their hours say they close at 430 but their doors were locked before 415. This has happened multiple times. How is a person supposed to get off work to pick up a prescription? Also, they scheduled an appointment once and when we went, the doctor was on vacation, no notification. Luckily there was a supplemental doctor but she didn't know health history or reasons for visit. Though, we learned more about unsaid condition from her than from the regular doctor. It's like a bunch of lay people people found a clinic and decided to try to run it.

  I called to make an appt for my son to get his shots. Got him an apt the next morning at 815. The woman I spoke to was kind and helpful.

  They don't pick up there phone. There is no way to make appointment for immunization.

  It was hard to make an appt for a tb shot. When I asked if they took medicaid they said yes so I decided to make an appt, last of the day. When I went I had to wait so long to check in. The staff was rude at the front and kept saying I needed to step back and wait behind the line. One young blonde lady really singled me out as a disturber I guess because she kept looking up from helping the person in front of her to keep her eye on me and give me dirty looks and tell me to step back! I have never been treated so rude and then when I came back to have them look at my arm they said I had to pay a huge amount for one little shot because they were wrong and medicaid doesn't pay! I told them at Samuel Rodgers downtown it was free! They said they have no affiliation with them! I thought they were both Samuel Rodgers but I guess Clay Co. is different and not in a good way! Not going back here for anything!!!

  Public health department. Wic and other family health stuff. Medical attention available. Clean and easy to access.
