Wow. In and out in less than 15 minutes. I’m a busy woman and came in for four twin mattresses for two bunk beds. I told Joe Barone what I was looking for, simple and straightforward, and told him not to oversell me, that these mattresses will not be used regularly (visiting grandchildren). He took me to the Simmons “June” model, listed the qualities, had me lay on it (felt great), and sold me immediately. Just for comparison, he showed me others but he was right- June was exactly what I needed. If you need a mattress, are in a hurry, and want honesty and integrity, go to Joe!

In the past few years, we have purchased a couple of beds and the service has always been great, very helpful, and never pushy. Most recently, the store manager Wilfredo, went out of his way to research a previously purchased product and provide some much needed information.

Went to City Mattress in Penfield today, as our first stop shopping for a new Mattress. We met salesman Joe Barone. He was very knowledgeable and so fun to work with. He was so easy to work with, and gave us a good price. No need to torture myself going to several stores. Joe made it so easy, and will deliver tomorrow! Go see Joe in Penfield. He’ll make you glad you did!

Very pushy salesman, his name was either dan or Dave, was very rude. We said that we came in just to look around and he responded with "well that's fine, but don't let me catch you laying on a bed then". I asked him how we could possibly try them out without laying on them? He told my husband and I that we could come back and try them when we were in a position to buy one. I can't believe that a store like this could even still be in business! Even if he was joking around, he made us feel very uncomfortable.

My wife and I had the pleasure of working with Joe Barone.
Admittedly I went into the store with my guard up knowing I would be facing a hard sell. However, there was no hard sell. But instead Joe knew his product extremely well and was very patient with the barrage of questions we asked.

Not honest. Terrible customer service. They do not stand by their word and/or their products. Don't bother with extended warranties there also they do not honor them. They do not care for their customers at all.

I worked with Dan last week and he was very pushy and rude and disrespectful. He had absolutely no knowledge on the mattresses that he was trying to show me. I'm sure you can thank metro mattress for sending my business to them. I'm not poor by any means but if you can't explain to me why I should spend $5000 on a bed then why would I buy it?

We've now bought two mattresses from City and I think it's safe to say moving forward, will be the only place we buy from in the future. Had the same salesman, Fred, for both purchases. Super knowledgeable. Honest and friendly, not pushy. Tried a few different mattresses at his suggestion after telling him what I had in mind. Then came back the next day to purchase and was helped by Steve, the store manager (Fred was off), who could not have been nicer or more accommodating. Went of his way to ensure delivery the next day (New Year's Eve!).

I've been to other mattress stores, and been to department stores nobody offered the product information/education or level of customer service I've encountered in our two transactions at City. Highly recommend!
