Went and saw Star Wars: The Last Jedi. We got the comfy cushioned recliner seats. The Digital Dolby Atmos 10.2 sounded great, but it was so loud it was almost unbearable at times and I'm the one that gets the "turn your music/audio down!" lol
Great theater, comfortable seats. Always a good experience there. Highly recommend this theater. Oh, and the sound system is fantastic.
Very nice theater. Screens are great, and the new reclining chairs are super comfy. Dropped one star because last time I went my chair didn't recline. Wasn't a problem, but with assigned seating I got fussed at by some woman when she came in and I had moved over one seat to a working chair.
Nicely decorated, high quality content, nice staff, generously large-sized parking lot with some of the best movies always playing here. But don't come here if you're expecting good ticket prices if you're an average adult if you want candy that won't burn a hole in your wallet. Although there is a reward system, the popcorn is fabulous, and discount for kids, college students, and seniors is a nice gesture.
I like this theater, not only because it's close to home but they make it easy to get in and see your show. Buying tickets online and picking them up at the kiosk is super easy and saves time. Clean theater, nice high-back seats, and friendly staff.
17 cinema movie theater. Stadium seating available. D-box in some theathers. Does not have Imax. Nice menu selection. Bar available. Also has a frozen yogurt inside.
Fun atmosphere, clean facilty, comfy chairs for movie viewing. I can only go on $5 tuesdays, their prices have skyrocketed probably due to renovations but it is no longer affordable.
Cinema Carousel is always clean, has digital projectors and leather seating in every theater. The staff there are friendly and helpful. When I am out of town Cinema Carousel is always one of the things I miss about home.
Nice theater, but there are 4 cheaper options within 15 miles. That being said, if you go on Tuesday tickets are only five dollars. Snacks still super expensive but you can get a dollar or two off by joining the free rewards club.
This would be a great theater if it wasn't for all the incessant talking. They've even started giving a little speil about why you shouldn't talk during the movie and threaten that there will be workers watching. Unfortunately it's not enough and for whatever reason, the talkers, and cell phone users frequent this theater. Because of this we try to avoid this place.
It was clean and they have really added some nice stuff, like food options and the seating in theaters. You will pay for it though. Prices are a little ridiculous. I would rather go to Grand Haven 9.
Staff is always nice. The line moves fast for tickets and snacks. The ticket kiosk is very nice!
This theater has been where I see movies for the last 15 years or so. Unfortunately the new policies it's implemented haven't turned out well for me. Assigned seating doesn't seem to be working, yet they insist on keeping it. And now I have to wait behind people in the concession line to buy tickets. They have one kiosk that adds a fee and it doesn't take cash, They charge a fee for online tickets as well. It is absolutely inexcusable to make customers but tickets in the CONCESSION LINE. Worse yet, when I addressed my problems with the manager, He didn't even seem to care
Moreover, the theater experience is just getting worse all the time. Everything comes with an up sell, snacks are stupid expensive, and now thanks to assigned seating, you can't move if the people in front of you are tall, or have BO, or talk incessantly. The theater doesn't enforce the no cell phone rule either, I've been to multiple movies where people are texting, and once when someone was actually TALKING in their phone. Even if the extra expense was justified because of the experience, it all goes out the window when discourteous individuals aren't even addressed.
The theater is in a nice location, and the theater itself is in nice shape and well maintained. The new seats are a welcome addition. I truly hope they improve on things that are lacking.
*update*
Getting better, They seem to be keeping the ticket booth open longer. keep it up guys!
I haven't been to the Cinema Carousel in quite a long time. They have definitely improved the seating in the theatre we were in. The popcorn tasted like it did years ago, which is not a bad thing. The prices were a little bit of a shock. But I guess, everything has gone up in price, so I expect it. They have a frozen yorgurt shop in there called Edna's that was pretty good and the carousel is starting to look like an after thought.
My daughter used to work here and we got crazy discounts on concessions so I never felt right complaining but now that I pay full price I feel comfortable. The food is good but very, VERY inconsistent. Its nearly $9 for nachos and a few times I have gotten them they have been great - loaded with cheese and toppings. But more often than not there is barely any cheese and a pathetic amount of toppings just dropped in the middle and not spread out. Your staff should be trained on how to properly make nachos that cost $9. We don't want a tray of dry chips. Also sometimes the loaded fries have onion and bacon and other times they don't. Not consistent at all
