The staff here does the best they can with what they have. Some of the process are thick with red tape. The place can sometimes be packed with clients and there children. Many of the clients often have unreasonable expectations, and will sometimes jam up the line in hopes it will cause their demands to be met. You will need to grab a receipt for any business you have before you get in line. Then bring it to the counter with you. They are on the left when you walk in.

Wow! Google you would have to come up with 0 star icons. I had never heard of this place. Some one that I know mention me about this place, even though this place got a review of 2.0 star I had to try to check. First time I called the lady not only put me in hold for a long time, she just pick the phone and said "Hey, please hold" . I hang up and called a second time. She pick up and hang up the phone.
Ain't waisting my time there. -0⭐

Section 8 will not help you as a landlord if you have issues with a tenant. They never return calls or emails. I will not be a section 8 landlord here in Cincinnati again because of CMHA is so poorly ran. It needs new management.

You will lose money as a landlord. They will find a way to lower the asking price, and it literally takes years to get them to raise rent when market prices go up. Their inspectors rarely attribute damage to the renter's abuse and the landlord almost always has to cover the cost of the repair. Then, when you've had enough, they quit paying rent even if their client refuses to move on time. The only recourse left is to evict, meaning at least a month of lost rent.

I am a landlord, and felt with CMHA for years, no problem. Recently now it is impossible to get anyone on the phone. Being on hold forever (if you can tolerate that awful music) eventually phone rings, no one answers. Phone numbers listed are "non-working" and give you yet another number for being on hold. Can't get questions answered. CMHA lost part of my paperwork. Still not resolved, and they say my request will be declined. One person on phone even told me I could not take care of this in person! Very stressful. Seems like they don't care or want to help. Wasn't always this way. Ridiculous and aggravating!
