Went there for first time on Tuesday night and I will be back. PJ was a great server, and gave the right amount of attention. Also it was my first time trying clams and let me tell you the bar waa set high.
I am completely shocked how my family was treated tonight at this restaurant. One of our meals temperature was not appropriate and we asked for it to be fixed. The restaurant decided to cook a whole new meal and it took so long that the rest of us had completed our meals. We thought it was right to let the management know so they could improve their service. We were not looking for a free meal with talking with management and when he approached our table he immediately started to argue with us on the temperature of the meal and even told us that he touched the meal. I cannot believe that the manager/owner would argue with us on this topic. We will never be eating at this restaurant again and would never recommend it to anyone in the future. This was also not our first problem with the restaurant but will be our last. I can only recommend to the manager/owner to read #hugyourhaters to know how to treat his customers.
We arrive right on time in a almost empty restaurant. But we were seated at the middle of the walkway. Calamari was good. But the salad was too small for $11. The veal with goat cheese is too strong and not enough salt. Chicken parmesan is ordinary.
So I just order lunch everywhere in the restaurant there are flyers posted that say "lunch 11:30-5pm" I picked up my food at 330 and manager tried to charge the dinner prices which were nearly double. Cabonara was 12/24 and meatballs 8/12 then tried to walk by extra slick and said "don't worry I gave you the lunch price" food is NOT worth the price. Very bland. Not much flavor. Not authentic at all. I'm not sure who wrote these positive reviews (LIES) just make sure they don't try to school you by charging you the wrong price.
Very good food. Authentic. The entrance to the restaurant is no bueno. There is very little room to stand, and there are tables outside, so the waiters are always bringing food out the front door. Sitting outside was loud.
We went as a group. Food was good. Friendly staff and nice place for couples and family's.
Meatballs were really good but when it came to the entree it was inedible. We ordered the Carbonara and it was so rich it was unenjoyable after the first bite! Don't get me wrong, I love creamy, rich food, but we could not take more than one bite. A little disappointed with the lack of response from our server. Will not be recommending.
Bartenders are busy tonight but attentive. Good pour on drinks and excited to try the menu as I'very only had appetizers in the past.
Great little Italian spot. Took my girlfriend here on a Friday night and the place was busy but not overly crowded, reservations are definitely recommend though. The food was great, had the meatball appetizer which was very flavorful and tender. For our meals we got the Orecchiette Pugliese and the brisket cannelloni. I honestly couldn't tell you which one was better but I know I'll be back for both at some point.
Been here twice in the past week. First time was early enough in the evening where the place was dead. We received great and cordial service. The food was average, as the broccoli and brussel sprouts are cooked with way too much butter.
The second time was a Saturday night. This place is way too crowded and they don't have enough bar staff to pay attention to their customers. Service was friendly, although extremely slow. We decided to not even eat since they took so long to even ask for our order. I hope they hire a second bartender to better service their customers.
They also close very early, so the bar isn't a great option.
Absolutely the best Italian meal my wife and I had in a very long time. True, authentic and quaint Italian restaurant. Great trendy upscale crowd with great atmosphere. Nice bar area, my IPA beer was perfect, as was my wife's wine. I had to try the chicken Marsala and man was it good. My wife had the eggplant, our salad was perfect and our appetizer was so good, I can't describe how much we loved it. We didn't have reservations, so the owner was kind enough to seat us at the large table, and as it turned out it was a lot of fun. Our waiter was professional as could be and friendly. The hostess also was great and friendly. Prices very good. I usually don't write long reviews but just had to on this one. It was like we were in a NYC Italian restaurant. Thank you!
