Great little supper club. We had drinks and great meals. Service was excellent. Highly recommend this place.

The food was outstanding as well as the service. My husband and I wanted a nice dinner and we were not disappointed. Excellent filet mignon and scallops. We will be back for sure!

Darn this place makes me so angry! We ordered a medium rare prime rib.it was clearly well cooked and chewy. We sent it back and it came out more cooked! We asked to speak with the manager. He was also the cook and took it very personally. Told us that he cooked the steak more to alleviate our "chewy" problem! What the heck?!! We expected to get a new steak that was cooked as we ordered it. So he quickly and extremely rudely snatched our bill and our to-go box which contained our scallops. He sent back only our bill with a $5 charge on our prime rib. But we lost our scallops that we had paid for. What the heck kind of place is this.if you mess up, right your wrong. We were completely kind and understanding of our request and the "manager" was completely out of line. Our poor server even commented that he normally "takes it personally." Well, in my opinion, he should normally learn how to cook a steak. Never again.

First and foremost, the owners are really great people and I am a huge fan of supporting local businesses.however the service that we had was awful. We ordered 5 steaks all Medium temp and all 5 were over cooked with two being charred beyond edible. The server seemed incredibly disinterested in our table. We would have happily ordered more drinks but she never can by the table to ask. As a result of the steaks being sent back, they did offer us a free round of drinks which was appreciated which we reflected in the tip (should have given it directly to the owners as they were the ones who were willing to at least discuss the steak issues) Took another 20 minutes for the server to come back to get the check after she dropped it off. If you want a great ice cream drink, then this place is for you.if you want a good steak and decent service, might want to pursue another alternative.

Absolutly Wonderful Place!! From the Hosstessto the Serverto the Bartender!! Very Attentive! Food was amazing..had bacon wrapped scallops and a steakone of the cooks came out to table to make sure steak was perfect!! Thank You Red Steer Staff!! Great Work!👌👍❤

If you are looking for a nice meal out with the family or spouse the steer is definitely on the hot spot list in Minocqua! I went there for my birthday and had lobster, hadns down best I've ever had in my life! Not to mention the biggest! I mean this thing was colossal! The only time I've seen bigger was scuba diving off the coast of Cozumel. The steak is phenomenal also, and they also have a great menu to accommodate your other taste buds! So stop in and give it a try you won't regret it! Hope you enjoy!
