Church Mutual covers my churches insurance and they are the worst insurance company I have ever worked with. Twice they lied to me about my coverage telling me they would cover my loss but to date they have not honored their Word. My latest claim is a personal workman’s comp claim that I have two emails acknowledging that they are obligated to pay for my initial Injury claim. Yet After seeing three doctors and getting a MRI bill they have yet to honor their Word and Pay my past work injury medical claim, now the medical bills have late fees and now it affecting my once perfect credit report. Church Mutual blames Kaiser and Kaiser blames Church Mutual. Truth is Church Mutual failed to file the proper paperwork and now they have ignored my last calls and two emails. Even my agent now ignores my emails so I’m leaving them after 26 years. I have already started shopping. Do NOT use church Mutual they have lousy claims Follow though if you have a loss, you will regret having them as your insurance company

I'm a contractor for a church that had hail damage. Church Mutual sent an adjuster out twice and all he did was deny, deny, deny any damage or say its manufacturer defect. The Pastor has weekly tried to call the agent and all he gets is the answering machine. Terrible customer service, terrible claims response, if you are a church there are much better companies than this one. Do your homework don't just pick this company because they have Church in the name.

There should be a way to give no stars while writing a review. That what I would have given Church Mutual - one star is way to generous. If you are a small yet struggling church, think twice before going with Church Mutual. After 5 years and zero claims they just dropped us. Worst company I ever dealt with, if I ever end up in a church covered by Church Mutual the first item of business will be to get a new quote.

My place of business uses Church Mutual for workers comp and liability coverage. Customer service has always been top notch. Very impressed with them when we have made claims, or needed assistance. Easy to get through to someone on the phone. Nice company to do business with.

HORRIBLE experience. I was hit by a customer of this company, in working with them to get my car repaired I have been lied to, mistreated, ignored and overall have had a terrible customer service experience. Do not trust these people to help you.

If you have this place as a workman's compensation insurance, be prepared to get all ass attitude from them. They do not care what happened to you and how it affects you. When you ask a question it's like your bothering them. Everything is there way on there time!! And when they leave you without pay they just take there time and don't tell you nothing, no check in mail oh well is there attitude, it don't affect them so what do they care! West Bend Mutual is way better! This place shouldn't even be related to churches!

Hope you never have to file a claim against this company! I had my parked car hit by someone with insurance with them and cant get anyone to return my calls. Over a month and no word from the claim adjuster.

Sorry I have to be honest here, this is one of the WORST INSURANCE COMPANIES FOR CHURCHES, UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR CHURCH TO BE **RIPPED OFF** WITH ULTRA-HIGH PREMIUMS. Our Church was paying $15,463.00 yearly with Church Mutual. The new company, Hanover Insurance, cost $10,749.00 AND GAVE US COVERAGES THAT WERE HIGHER and more COMPREHENSIVE than Church Mutual *EVER* Gave Us. so Buyer Beware, or should I say, PASTORS & CLERGY BEWARE!
