Clean, clean, clean and great smelling. No musty motel this. Was delighted by how clean and sweet smelling the room was. Mattresses were very comfortable. Owners are very nice and recommended must see area sights that we are glad we didn't miss. Found a great marshland boardwalk (one of my favorite things!) at the park they recommended.

Chris and I had a couple nights stay and found it to be very cozy and clean. The owners were super accommodating and very knowledgeable about the area. It was not overly expensive and they do give discounts to veterans. We plan to stay here again.

We had a very nice time. It was clean and quaint. They also have a very nice place for a campfire. They had yard games set up. The owners took care of all our needs. And we won at the casino!!

My wife and I stayed here this past weekend. The room that we had and the room that our friends stayed in we're very clean and nice. The air conditioning worked great since it was 90 degree's both days, unusual for a late September. The owners are extremely hospitable and friendly. We would recommend this little motel to anyone wanting a comfortable bed, clean bathrooms, and a stone's throw from two great restaurants. They also give a discount to Veterans. We'll be back! Thanks Beth for everything.

My boyfriend, mother, and I just stayed here over the weekend for an ORV ride and we were all very pleased with how great our service/room was! Very clean, great customer service, and such a cute/cozy room. They were also very accommodating with us taking up extra space with our RZR, truck, and trailer, and even offered to keep an eye on things while we were out riding and enjoying our say in Christmas/Munising :)

My husband and I wanted to explore the area of Munising but found that a lot of the hotels in that area were really outrageously priced as it is a big tourist town. We ended up booking 2 nights at the Christmas Motel since it is so conveniently located near Munising and the tourist area but had awesome reviews.
The place was great! We were able to drive up to the front door, the owners were fantastic (very warm and friendly, we even got to meet their adorable Springer Spaniel pup!) and the rooms were incredibly clean. We didn't spend a lot of time in the room as there is so much to do in the area but were overall very impressed with the facilities.response / report this review -

We just stayed and we had a great time. Super inexpensive place to lay your head.

Classic 1950's roadside Americana. The pine wood decor sets it off. The old gas heaters creak a little warming up but work great. The big log chairs out front were blocked by the parked cars, but I found the hidden gem out back with quiet picnic tables by the woods. Pet friendly and clean. Excellent value for the price. And the owners were friendly and very helpful pointing out waterfalls and things to do. Maybe a trail in the woods would be nice
