Bavarian style hotel in a phenomenal location in Vail. If you’re into a more rustic style, Christiania at Vail is a good option. Decent pricing for Vail and comfortable rooms. They pay attention to details and offer a good stay. Breakfast is included but parking (which across the street) is not. Overall I would recommend the hotel to my friends.
This is a very quaint place with some old fashion charm. Bathroom fixtures could be updated. In all a wonderful place to stay. Close to restaurants and shops. we will stay here again
Staff and management were all friendly and welcoming. A few basic things missing from the condo but no big deal considering it was the last weekend before the off season. Will probably stay again in the future.
I cannot say enough nice things about this place! My husband and I stayed in room 302 Saturday night September 23rd (a friend was getting married in Vail). The wedding was at 3pm...but check-in wasn't until 4pm. I called the day before and explained our predicament to the front desk and they said they would do everything they could to have our room ready before the wedding - and they did! We were able to check in early, which was awesome. The rooms are really nice, VERY "Vail" decoration (think Switzerland). Our king-size bed was extremely comfortable. And they had a great continental breakfast in the morning. Seriously, loved everything about this place - and the price wasn't too bad, seeing as it *is* Vail. Looking forward to staying here again!
My wife and I really liked our stay at the Christiana. We went for our 1 year anniversary and enjoyed being so close to restaurants and shopping areas (literally 2 minute walk). The ambiance of the Christiana was awesome too - small town european inn feel.
There were a couple of issues with our room but the staff handled the situation very courteously and generously. Despite the issues, we will definitely be returning customers!
I had the privilege of staying at the Christiana this July and thoroughly enjoy my stay. The inn was very quaint allowing my stay to be both relaxing and comfortable. Originally, I was interested in staying at the Christiana because of its great location in Vail Village and because it's family owned. They have a nice pool and I did some yoga in the yard. The location is close to shops, restaurants, bars, hiking trails, and of course the slopes when ski season is in session. I would highly recommend this to visitors of Vail and I will definitely be a guest again!
Great room and great staff. Makes the family coming back every year
The Christiana at Vail is a great hotel if you want to be close to the action of the village while being cozy in an establishment modeled seemingly after an inn in the Swiss alps! Would recommend to a friend!
This is a old hotel and it's certainly showing it's age. My room was a musty hotbox. There was no AC, so I had to open the windows to cool off, which wouldn't be a problem except my room faced the street where the bars are. I didn't get to sleep till after 3am when all the drunk people finally went home. It was pretty miserable. I miss the Cascade.
Older hotel, sheets had to be changed after we checked in.
Here in between busy seasons for an educational meeting. Beautiful scenery. Fantastic staff and my room is great.
