Nathan was extremely punctual, understanding, and is an expert at his job. He came in, assessed our situation, and fixed it promptly. I would highly recommend him as a technician, along with Chicago Locksmiths. They are very reasonably priced (significantly cheaper than when this was performed in the past) and very understanding with changes in schedule. I highly recommend Nathan and Chicago Locksmiths anymore - they are simply the best and only choice in Chicago.

Dan was very exceptional and prompt. He didn't waste any time unlocking my door, he was very friendly and professional. I was very nervous about my door being locked, but he assured me that he get the job done. I would recommend him to anyone that need assistance in getting unlocked out of their car or home.

Jacob was a stellar service person. He communicated several times with updates on his timing of arrival. He listened to the list of locks and doors I needed work done on. He efficiently performed the work. He answered all question I had and made several excellent comments and recommendations to further my knowledge of how locks should be properly cared for. If I ever have more lock issues, I will demand he be the person who comes and takes care of them. Simply can’t recommend him highly enough. Very professional.

Saturday night, 7:30 P.M. Called 24/7 Chicago Locksmith, their operator said their technician would call back in 5-10 minutes. Technician Mike called 5 minutes later. He gave his eta at 8 P.M. We discussed pricing during that call. He was very specific about the charges ahead of time, very helpful from the start. The estimated charges, work unseen, were in line with what I looked at elsewhere online. I asked him to come fix the problem. He showed up at 8 P.M.

Mike was very earnest, friendly, helpful, and professional. He seems to know what he's doing, judging from the result.

I needed him to repair a broken interior door handle and lock (a push button, for a bathroom). The fix included a new latch with a plate, instead of the old latch that sat loose inside the door between the jamb and the handle. He had to make a new seat for the latch plate on the jamb-side of the door. He also advised me to get a new handle kit within a few days to ensure the old handle he fixed doesn't fail again.

The total was $101, including service charge and labor. It was very well worth it.

During the same service call, I also asked Mike to have a look at a broken lock on my porch storm door. He was happy to have a look.

It was stuck closed, even after I had previously tried removing the mortise plate and lock. I have a new lock on order that I'm going to install, but wouldn't be able to do so unless the latch could be pulled back or removed. I didn't want to break the door. Mike knew just where to use force, and got the broken latch out without damaging the door. He made this quick fix on the storm door for no extra charge.

Mike was excellent, very professional. I will definitely call 24/7 Chicago Locksmiths if I ever need work done again.

CL was professional when I called for a quote and the locksmith was great who came here. All locks work well and were installed as promised in a timely manner.

The only slight issue is that the price ended up being a lot more than the estimate because we have a kind of lock that the locksmith did not expect. I understand that this is impossible to tell over the phone but if there were some other kind of system to make estimates more exact (like sending pictures or something like that), it would be helpful.

Still, this probably would have been an issue with any locksmith we hired, so overall I would recommend this locksmith.

Call this company if you EVER have a lock out emergency but still feel like good service is warranted. They were quick and courteous with my call. When Uriah showed up he jumped right into some basic trouble shooting questions and worked his magic. I personally was in a bad mood when he arrived. Not rude but I was probably a little curt. Didn't matter Uriah still gave me high level service and patience. He was the perfect professional. I highly recommend Uriah of Chicago Locksmith. I'm in from the cold in less than 15 m from my call!

Excellent experience. Prompt and professional customer service. Chris did a great job of making copies of the keys I brought in and explaining how their in store and on call services worked. Key cost was berry reasonable too. In tge past, i used to go to big home improvement stores for keys; and the key quality was poor. Keep up the good work, you have my business going forward and the phone number of is on my key so I know who to call if I need something. Thanks again TC

Great experience! We had an emergency lockout situation and they came very promptly. The technician (Brian) was very competent and quickly got the door open. He even helped me carry in some of my bags from the hall!

I now understand why Chicago Locksmiths has five stars from 1000+ reviewers. I called them after 11 p.m. last night to request duplicate car key service. I was told Robert will be coming to do the job between 10 and 11 a.m. next day. He called me at 7 in the morning to confirm, I asked if he could do the job earlier so I wouldn't have to leave work at 10, he readily accepted and showed up half an hour later. In less than 30 minutes, he was done and on his way. I got my duplicate key without the need to leave work mid-morning. Very professional and efficient all around.
By the way, before Chicago Locksmiths, I had called Quick Key and Plainfield Lock Techs earlier in the day. Both promised to call back but never did.

Chicago Locksmiths was so easy to deal with! I called late in the day, gave my info to the dispatcher and within 10 minutes the tech called me to let me know he was on his way! Sean appeared in 20 minutes. This was great seeing that I had an emergency with my lock and needed help immediately. Sean was friendly, competent and able to fix the problem. I will definitely be recommending Chicago Locksmiths to all my family and friends!

I had to have my locks changed due to a lost key so I called Chicago Locksmith. They were very helpful and able to get my problem resolved faster than I ever expected. Paul was the gentleman that fixed my lock for me and was wonderful. He was timely, professional, did a great job and had a wonderful personality. Price was extremely fair too. I would use them again in a heartbeat (though hopefully won't need to!) and would highly recommend if you want friendly, fair and efficient work done.

Well I am back (unfortunately). Just got locked out of my place again and was in the worst mood to realize that late at night I had to wait for the locksmith and pay a ton. Kenny showed up super fast and was more than friendly which totally turned the night around. Not only did Kenny get me into my place, but he noticed that my lock was improperly on in the first place causing a safety concern. Even though it took five times longer to fix than popping the lock in the first place (due to my funky door), Kenny didn't give up until it was fixed and my place was safe. Again, I would recommend this place a million times over!

Came out on time for appointment, locksmith was very courteous and clearly knew about locks. I own daycare and the paddle lock wasn't working, had been issue for months. Previous locksmith said I would need to replace it, but Chicago locksmith taught me a bit about how the lock works and then sanded down the area that was sticking and it worked like a charm. Cost about $120 for visit and labor but it's better than spending $500 on a new lock that I didn't even need!

Chicago Locksmiths was EXTREMELY helpful when I needed my locks changed. They not only came when they said they did but confirmed ahead of time. I had to break down my own door due to a lockout and was concerned it needed to be replace. Gabriel came out and assessed the door and said it could be repaired. The whole process was very quick and professional. Gabriel was very honest and did a great job. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone that needs this type of service.
