My wife and I just completed our 4th stay at Cherry Ridge and we couldn't have been more pleased--as with all visits! To those considering Cherry Ridge, do yourself a huge favor and book it! You will not be disappointed! Already looking forward to our next visit. Absolute best in the entire Hocking Hill region!

We just spent our honeymoon in Oak Ridge at cherry ridge resort. I absolutely loved the presentation and atmosphere. The cabin was beautifully decorated, very comfortable, and relaxing. The only negative I have and the reason I didn't give 5 stars is that upon our initial arrival/check in the front desk staff could not assist us or point us in a direction for dinner. We are not from the area, but figured that the front desk would be able to at least recommend a town to travel to that had dinner places. Overall I would recommend this place to friends, but if you have front desk staff they should be able to give recommendations in the area/know the area.
Update: Cherry ridge retreat followed up shortly after this review and quickly explained the situation and addressed our concerns which was very much appreciated.

We have used Cherry Ridge as a family vacation spot twice in the last 3 years. Eleven of us stayed this year at the Lake House and Boat House for a week. We've had wonderful experiences both times. The houses are impeccable with lots of activities to do both on the property and near by. Having breakfast by the lake in the morning, hiking during the day, and campfires at night are some of our favorite things to do. Highly recommend to anyone!

My husband and I honeymooned at Cherry Ridge Retreat. What a perfect choice! I wouldn't change anything about it. We got married on New Year's Eve and it was so beautiful out in the middle of nowhere at Cherry Ridge. The serenity, peace, quiet, and each other was all so perfect. Best of all, we were competed disconnected from reality in our own getaway! Thank you SO much for a perfect place to start our marriage together!

The cherry ridge retreat was simply awesome! I cannot say enough about how luxurious the cabin was, the privacy was ultimate , check in was easy the view incredible. When we arrived the cabin was clean beautiful music playing lights dimmed all adding up to a most romantic weekend. The hot tub was fabulous, fire pit so cozy, just sitting at night listening to the crickets and tree toads was so peaceful and relaxing. We are trying to plan another weekend there this summer - we think about and reminisce about this place often - it made such an impression. I would highly recommend this place it's one of our favorites. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could think of that you would need including a bar set to mix your favorite drinks. Wish we were there now!!!!

Our stay was so relaxing and truly a retreat! The dual headed shower, surround sound in the cabin and outside, and hot tub were our favorite things. It was also nice to have a full kitchen so we could easily prepare our own meals and did not need to travel into town for food. The cabin was very clean and we had no issues with bugs, which was a concern of mine when we decided to come in May. Beautiful setting and beautiful cabin! We hope to come back.

We stayed at Cherry Ridge September 2016 and plan to do so again in 2017. You won't find a better place to get away amidst the flora and fauna. Beautiful vistas, complete privacy, everything you need for a luxurious stay right at your fingertips. Exceptionally clean, especially the hot tub. Be sure to bring your own food supply so you don't have to leave this tranquil setting. Weber grill, adirondack chairs, covered hot tub so any rain can drum lightly while you soak (yes, it's completely romantic!). Large refrigerator, range, microwave, coffee maker. Bring some water; there are no nearby stores. Ah, the stars at night and the sunrise peeking through the forest. What could be better?!?

What a great place to rest and relax. The observatory is where we have stayed twice. Facility is top notch and designed for an intimate couples getaway. The outdoor private pool is a wonderful touch along with hot tub and plunge pool. Bring your own food and there is no reason to leave except if you want to walk on trail. It is expensive but we think well worth it.

Cherry Ridge Retreat is set in a beautiful location. The cabins are new and include all the modern appliances you would expect. Many other cabins in the region at other businesses are tacky and in close proximity to one another. Cherry Ridge Retreat cabins are secluded from each other which really enhances the experience.

The customer service is top notch. I couldn't recommend Cherry Ridge Retreat more strongly versus others in the region. We have stayed there three times and will be back. After our first visits we decided it would be the only place we stay in the Hocking Hills area.

When my wife and I decided on Cherry Ridge Retreat for a long weekend getaway, we had been through a trying couple of years prior, without a respite, and were both ready for any kind of quiet relaxation. Cherry Ridge was indeed the relief we had been hoping for. The cottage we stayed in was immaculate and beautifully decorated. It had a wonderful view of the lake and was isolated enough that we felt as if we were alone in the woods together. The process in and out was beyond easy and the experience as a whole far exceeded our expectations. This could very well be the finest getaway experience in the beautiful Hocking Hills!
