Went at 6:30 on a Saturday night and wait 20 minutes for a table for 4. Tried their michelada special that was prepared with Old Bay, really yummy. The margaritas are fresh and delicious. I usually get the crab enchiladas, great flavor combo with the enchilada sauce. Guacamole app is a must.

Happy hour! Tacos! Two of my favorites and this is my go to spot for them. The chicken mole tacos rock! Chips and salsa are fun because the chips are whole circular tortillas. Queso fundito is healthy and not your typical bean cheese mush, here they use black beans with white cheese melted on top. Margaritas are small but certainly sneak up on you so don’t over do it! This place is big and the decor is nice with the tin ceilings.

Really nice decor. Very attentive bartender (and staff). Kind of loud with the crowd and kids, but overall a good place for a night out or date night (but not first dates because of the sound level). I’m never super into Mexican food, however, I can tell this place is better than NYC average (the tortilla in the enchiladas need more consistency though).but nothing to write home with. This could be a romantic place had it not been so busy.

Love love love this place! We've been coming here since they had their first hole-in-the-wall location. Always great service and always the best Mexican cuisine in the city!! Highly recommended.

Great margaritas and friendly staff. Small and calm atmosphere. Good place to eat if you're in the area.

Perhaps one of the top 3 go-to spots for meeting with friends/ brunch on the weekend in the Franklin Avenue area. Great menu and priced well. The vibe is great, and the space is adorable. It's a really nice place to visit during the summer.

I was here 9/9 in the back dining room . Saw one roach crawling on the wall behind my friends head and called the manager and he grabbed it. Shortly thereafter another came and the waitress grabbed it. Completely DISGUSTING! When we complained to the manager his explanation was "well the door is open". He didn't offer much customer service at all. My friend finally asked if there was something he could do about the bill and he took two drinks off, however there were three of us dining and had been there drinking and eating for a little while. Needless to say this place is lacking in both cleanliness and customer service. I used to always order from this place, but this was my first time eating in the restaurant. NEVER AGAIN!

Delicious food! You MUST try their guacamole. There is some sort of fish in there and it makes it amazing. It can get quite loud in there, but the food was excellent and service was on point.

One of the best Mexican restaurants in NYC. Not the expected taco or burrito place, but complex entrees, decedent mole, and rotating daily specials. Amazing chilaquiles and full bar.

Food was amazing. Went at 11:30 for their lunch special got a half chicken rice and beans for only $8. Amount of food to price ratio is tremendous, service was quick since we were there at traditionally slow time. Incredibly pleased and happy with the experience.
