Great clinic, Dr's are very negligible in there fields, Take there time to make right decision's on what procedures would be right for the individual.
I was very pleased with the care i received i would have stayed if i could.

I have been a patient with COA for years. Dr Jenkins and his PA Drew are wonderful to work with. He takes care of my knees. They are very compassionate and their nursing staff is excellent! Also Dr Roybal and all of his staff took extremely good care of my back. I had back surgery twice. I had crippling back problems for years but, Dr Roybal solved the problems with surgery. No more extreme back pain! I would not go anywhere else for orthopedic care.

Dr. Noonburg and his PA are awesome, but the awesomeness ended there. I went to see Dr. Noonburg last week, he said he would order an MRI, and all I had to do is to wait for a call about MRI scheduling. After patiently waiting for several days, nothing happened, and I have a follow-up appointment with Dr. Noonburg, which actually requires the result of MRI. I just don't know how I can move forward at this point when I'm stuck at the very first step.

By the way, I have left three messages to Dr. Noonburg's assistant Mandy, and after two days, no call back. So how and when will I get this MRI??? I'm thrown into this limbo. Anyway, I just want to say all the bad reviews of this facility are pretty spot-on, and I'm just adding another one here.

Update: Got a call back from Mandy. Hope the issue will be resolved soon.

Update2: After waiting for MRI scheduling for a whole week, I called my insurance and discovered that Chatham Orthopaedic Associates never submitted any MRI preauthorization request. Previously they told me they were waiting for my insurance's approval, which is a big LIE.

The doctors and staff are all very nice and professional I felt comfortable during my epidural and physical therapy. I never wait long and am not there all day. However, when they call to take your payment do it that very second. I told the lady I would call her back that next week when I was not at school or work and she sent my bill to collections which made paying and scheduling another appointment very difficult.

Dr. Sofianos did my back and neck surgery and he is amazing! Dr. Despande is treating my knee and he wants to be 100% certain before he cuts. Dr. Chia is good at pain management and isn't judgemental at all. I was actually expecting someone to yell at me because I read online what goes down in pain management. Leave of absence is horrible, there has been so many times doctor office notes were not sent and my insurance was canceled or I didn't get paid. You must call and ask to have office notes sent each visit to ensure that you get paid etc. Also no one picks up the phone at 8am when they open. After hours answering service goes on for another 15 mins.

MD's -great! Frustrating to deal with Admin side - -has taken 2 weeks to get a response. Once response finally received (after numerous messages, emails, and posts on Patient Portal) Jackie - Clinical Manager - was very easy and pleasant to work with.

Dr chai and Susan are great but like many others stated on here the admin staff are horrible and then I had to wait a long time for my prescriptions then the girl sent some of my meds to the wrong pharmacy this is about the fourth time this has happened she can't get it right. The drs are amazing but they really should do something about the admin staff

I have to strongly agree with many of the reviews here. The physicians here are top notch, Michelle, Dr,. Hoffman's assistant is great. Beyond that, the rest of staff seems to be fairly inconsistent and lacks attention to detail. I made an appointment with Dr. Hoffman in mid May, the appointment wasn't until 6/10. Upon receiving my reminder call I noticed that they had scheduled me with Dr. Levittnot my doctor. When I called to correct, I was treated with indifference and no good solution was offered. Meanwhile, my pain continues for another month until I can get in to my newly scheduled mid-July appointment. Truly unacceptable patient care. Thanks, Chatham Orthopedic for treating me like a number.
