My family and I have been frequenting this restaurant since I was a young kid, when it was still called Charlie's Crab. If you order from the Sunset Menu, you are given a choice of soup or salad, an entree, and a dessert. The parmesan sol drizzled with a butter-based sauce and capers (yum!) is fresh-caught and oh-so-delicious (and I usually avoid fish!). If you're a big salad eater (like me), you'll enjoy the Caesar salad with CH's homemade dressing. To top it off, I would recommend the raspberry sorbet--so refreshing, and so fruity! The food isn't the only good thing about Chart House. The waiters are exceptionally courteous, as well. The prices, however, are a bit on the high side and have been increasing steadily.

We came 30 mins before close. Every bit of food was fantastic. Most complaints here seem to be about service. Obviously we didn't have any issue with service since we came in so close to close. Food is really good.

Hands down THE worst dining experience we have ever had. Made a reservation for 6:15 and at 6:45 had to find someone to give us water. At 7:00 we still didn't have a server. We finally ordered food at 7:10 only to be told at 7:25 they were out of some of what we ordered. We spoke with a manager several times and nothing was resolved and we ended up leaving starving. We will NEVER go back.

Two stars only because of location to sit outdoors. Wanted to dine outdoors. Host seemed acceptable. No one showed up to wait on us outdoors. Asked to be seated indoors. Choice early dining vs. ? Some of us wanted full menu and some appetizers. Decided on full dining. Initially great service, then the "host, manager" spoke with the wait staff, our observation. Things went downhill. Salad and soups came - great. After that downhill. Both full entrees, at most adequate. The appetizers were poor and they charged full price for one of the appetizers. No idea on how to serve wine. If I want to spend almost $200, I will go to other restaurants with better food, service and atmosphere - e.g. Jazz Club. Definitely will visit other dining venues.
