Their shop might be famous and their cakes look beautiful but the looks are deceiving. Our cupcakes were rather dry and the cake + icing lacked any flavor or body. The fact that the fondant used at the top had more flavor than the cupcake and icing together kind of was a let down. Good thing I got to try these for free though!

Charm City Cakes made and delivered our wedding cake and it was an amazing experience! We got to meet with one of the consultants who helped us design a classy cake. We got small samples of 6 cake flavors at the time of that meeting. All of their cake flavors are so delightful. Their fondant tastes like marshmallow fluff. So good. We had a week or so to decide on our flavors, we paid, and the beautiful cake showed up to our wedding several months later! It was such a pleasant and easy process. We can't thank them enough for the cake and for making it a simple process. Everyone on the team that we got to meet were so friendly. I recommend the chocolate espresso cake flavor!

My husband bought a private cake class for me for my 30th birthday and it was seriously super chill and fun. It's a cool way to get out some creative energy and relax. They provide everything and walk you through it, so it's great even for beginners. Thanks, Amanda and Charm City Cakes.

We bought a cake for my little girls 11th birthday, it was amazing we picked the cake up right at the shop in Baltimore and we were treated like old friends it was a very good experience!!! Not only that but the cake was extremely well decorated and the taste was unbelievable too!!

I reached out to them in June to make a cake for my husband's retirement after 28 years in the Army. His first assignment was as a crew chief on helicopters and he still had his helmet from that time. I sent them pictures of the cake and on the day of the ceremony it was delivered and looked fantastic. My husband said it was the most memorable part of his day and was a fantastic surprise. When he first saw the cake, it was next to his original helmet and he thought it was another helmet. And the cake TASTED amazing. While on display, it garnered a lot of attention from everyone who walked by and they were amazed that it was actually a cake.
